I woud suggest just getting the base game at first and see how you’re enjoying it before buying the dlc. One of the older dlc maps were recently added to the basegame and there’s still alot of players playing on the base game. The harsh conditions on the new map also makes the learning curve alot steeper. Hope you enjoy it dude

The new map is harder than the base game but as husk found, way easier to find someone to teach you the game. You need taught to play DayZ.
