this game has a gigantic learning curve to new players. once you have about 40 hours in and learn all the buttons and keys and how to survive, it becomes the greatest game ever made! 2 out of 3 people are buttholes but once you find a good friend to run with it helps!

My friend got me to play Day Z and it was one of the most complicated games I ever played. Want to reload your gun? Sorry you can't just press R you have to open your inventory, click your gun, remove the mag, manually reload each mag, put the mag back in, and then you're good to go. Also, the amount of water you had to drink would kill an elephant.

Holding R does change your mag. Sometimes it's stubborn because you don't have the inventory space for the mag in your gun to fit

Bro that's the worst when you finally found somebody friendly, just lose them after a few minutes. I had a couple bad situations happen being friendly. Cooking and a guy walked in then back out but I stopped him and offered him a chicken to stay and eat and be friendly. After like 15 min I took a shot to side of the head... Another guy after I respawned asked if I wanted something and when I walked up he few me human meat and he ran away yelling " kill him, he tried to feed me human meat!!". 🤦🤦🤦🤦😭😭😭🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Pro Tip: The zombies attack twice and then you can hold shift and click to chain together heavy attacks and they wont be able to hit you! Also jumping up on cars & hesco blocks and hitting zombies is a good strategy.

You can shout in game if you loose your friends. Press up on the arrow key (you’ll see 3 lines on the voice symbol rather than two) and your voice will travel a lot further. Remember to switch it back though 😅 You can also block by raising your fists and walking backwards, in case you get trapped by a zombie.

When you start out find a knife or small stone to make knife. Then find chicken cook it. use knife and bone to make hook. Cut up clothes 6&6 rags make rope. Long stick & rope make fishing pole. fishing pole, hook & worm. Fish till your food sec. Bar is full rhen move in land to gear.

Bro, this game genuinely seems like it can make serious survival relations if you befriend someone, and really get close with them, its quite the bond. Of course, i havent played this game, this is really mainly from seeing videos, and of course what i said only counts for when you do meet someone, and dont get mugged on the spot. Overall this really feels like being in The Walking Dead, its kinda sad how it reflects reality with how cold blooded, paranoid and horrified people are, of eachother, nearly more so, than the zombies.
