Here in Madden 23's face of the franchise mode, Rocket City WR Samuel Owusu starts his career in the NFL. This mode is somewhat similar to the superstar mode back in the Madden 08 days minus the fun elements. This Madden 23 Wide receiver career mode should be a good time none the less. It should be fun to get drafted, run the combine, the 40 yard dash, and start a new journey! I imported my NCAA 14 WR into Madden 23!

The biggest problem is that they only care about MUT. I am in a 32 person online league with GGB, who was going to make a series on it, and come week 4, the league broke and nobody able to play each other and EA said MAYBE in mid October the issue would be fixed. And this all happened well before the hurricane.

They apparently screwed up MUT stuff this year, too. I uninstalled this trash after the last title update when it "unstuck" my franchise that was stuck in the draft, only to get through Week 2 post update and get thrown back into the draft again, wasting hours of progress for the 2nd time. I'm done with this garbage.

@@nerdguy100 the only reason "the money is there" is because EA knows that people who think they are professional Madden players will pump tons of cash into the microtransactions thinking they actually have a chance to win competitions. Those of us who want to play franchise or online 1v1 are just left with the scraps. Once 2K is able to make a simulation NFL game, I am sure things will be better for franchise mode in one of them in order to outdo the other

I think the reason for the bad qb play is cUse the game is programmed expecting the player to only ever play qb, so they don’t bother actualy programming it to be smart

Face Of The Franchise mode is bad because the rosters never update & the CPU will make questionable roster decisions. Literally had one as a QB where I went into a game with only 3 receivers after they cut the slot WR & one of the starters was injured. If you're gonna do this, just do Franchise Mode as a player.

The biggest issue with Madden is that the attributes actually mean nothing. A 99 speed WR with 25 route running would be significantly better than an 80 speed WR with 99 route running, which is extremely unrealistic. Retro Bowl is a more realistic football game and I can play that for free on my phone

Just for fun I played franchise mode so I could play as Anthony Richardson. I Buffed him to be a 94 overall with 99 speed and 99 acceleration. My line had no one below a 81, and I was playing on all pro not even all madden. Half the plays I’d get sacked or not have any time in the pocket. Whenever Id rolled out it seemed like 90% of the time I’d get run down and not be able to scramble even with maxing out the scrambling stats. This game hurts me….

I think the problem is you calling for the ball. I did a season of this as a RB for the Lions while never calling for the ball and Jared Goff completed 85% of his passes and had two interceptions all season.

In madden19 you should create a player (Owusu) and go to franchise you pick the team Owusu is on and you go to (role) then press player,after that press roster if you do you will find Owusu on there and if you press him it will basicly be a face of the franchise but with no interuptions starting at year 1 (this works for any madden above madden19 but i thought this would be better)

MUT is the biggest problem with Madden. If you look when maddens became bad, it was after they added MUT and started focusing on it only. It’s getting ridiculous. I think we are lucky NCAA ended when it did or it would’ve been a college version of Madden. For your sake bro, you don’t need to continue this series if you don’t want to

Madden normally can be tweaked by sliders, but this year it doesn't matter. It's completely broken, I purposely turned the user QB sliders to 100 and the interception to 0 for the CPU, just to see how overpowered the interceptions were and still threw 4 picks. I know I'm not that bad, I play Madden all the time smh.
