I walked from a crappy job at 54 years of age not realizing how difficult it is for the over 50 crowd to get hired. Been driving ready mix but tomorrow is my last day. Next week I start running a Transit 250.

I've been laid off over and over again. And the last layoff was tough for me because I'm in my 50's. So tired of it but it's the industry that I was in. I'm in my own journey to work for myself. Diversity with content is a plus. It’s entertaining to watch your stories about your life in your journey to become independent. Yes sir keep mixing up the content. I use to go to the store for the drug dealers on my block so they didn’t miss serves from age 9-13 and I started playing sports and the older school guy on my block we called him the wealthy guy on the block started paying me and my home boy to feed his big ass dogs, wash his vehicles, and cut his grass so we don’t have to be around the dope boys. So that’s how my hustle started.

Bruh u was big wildin 😂 😂😂..but the experience u had pushed u further in the direction u was already going..u had bad management most of ur time working for a company doing that type of work and being in the field u was in with those skills hell u could have did ur own welding and painting business anyway but im sure if u were in a different state/city like hoston, tx where welding and painting is kinda big in the auto scene u would been straight...but even the guy that was getting ready to retire got caught in the bad management web..management and the field ur in plays a big part in ur tenure at a company and most times ppl aint making a career out of it just need the bread but if u had better management i doubt u would have experienced those mishaps so soon but those high demands fields like engineering, cybersecurity, accounting, legal is different lay offs for those fields are more on if something happens to the company mainly or if someone is just messing up or consistently out of compliance most of the time more so than management but they have those bad managers which most ppl will leave and take their skills else where..end of the day good management is by the handful but its skills and having a plan that will make u consistent money
