What frogger said about OWL lucios having double his damage is crazy, I’ve seen him play and he already squeezes lucio for so much more damage than I ever believed. Would love to see that kind of gameplay broken down

tbh it's probably because they shoot tank more since they play with their team while frogger focuses more on assasinating squishies

Honestly I hated Lucio bc of the heals just wasn’t there until I realized I’m playing incorrectly as a tank and asking for basically for double pocketed bc I was playing shitty and didn’t realize how the movement boost impacted fights

The maddest strangest problem as a lucio main is tanks with literally go afk randomly at chokes, you'll just be looking at this roadhog but like "I am now standingin this doorway spounging damage" you heal amp him and he heals himself then start yelling about lucio being useless. Like yeah man I'm sorry we're playing lucio hog to stand in main and say HELLO YES I AM HERE! Then when I go to flank and crossfire theirhealers because I'm not getting healing value or speed value in team everyone says I'm throwing, even though half the games we can win off of that. They'd rather I stand in main and pretend to be pocket healer.

I used to use my heal aura too much because in low ranks, players think that the only value supports can give is healing, so they look solely at the heal stat to see which supports played better

I know what you mean, after watching his coaching with awkward you can froggers “coaching” isn’t really great coaching, which is nothing against frogger coaching is a very hard skill and he’s not a coach he’s a content creator who’s good at the game, he felt a lot more like a friend watching in discord occasionally providing constructive criticism as opposed to a coach

Died waaaaay too much. Not enough heals. Walked into Rein swings and fighting Ram up close….Too much unnecessary movement- trying to just walk through the whole team….what else….gold lucio play? Ambient heals are bigger than most players realize-saying Lucio does low numbers is ridic-

Lucio is one of the characters people can easily blame when things don't work out, because the vast majority of his value is not on the scoreboard, and everyone is a Scoreboard Andy, at least into diamond. Not sure about Master - not there yet. It's difficult to win that internal struggle where a part of me wants to make sure I have enough heals to not get yelled at, so I give up a lot of potential plays to stay safe and be a good healbot. But then I just started turning off comms in competitive, and it's been fantastic.

A few years a ago I reached out to you about advise on playing Lucio. Love the hero. Still trying to improve honestly with less opportunity to play now and days. This is awesome. Great example of how to approach the hero.

My biggest advice on Lucio - I recommend if first starting out is playing ( * stallio * ) -The value that u get just by stalling all game you don't need to have god aim can kill in a heartbeat - if u stall the point and can never die your value to your team is infinite even if u had 0 kills - Also taxi your dead team from spawn

I know I'm watching this late but even in high diamond lobbies people get upset about "low healing, play something else" without seeing the value of speed and displacement. I have a 76% winrate on the frog on my climb back to masters and people still rage because I "don't swap to healing when the tank is at 50 hp" as if speeding him out of combat is the worse option than the tiny healing going yellow would do.

As someone with a little Lucio play time (200hrs) I can say with some confidence that one of two things will happen; 1: Your team blames you for not healing enough 2: Your team DEMANDS that you stay on Lucio because they need beat to win teamfights Usually it's option 1, but option 2 does happen, and it feels good when it does.

12:50 Air strafing, kinda like in TF2 but a little jankier in this game. A lot easier to do on Lucio than any other character bc of wallriding

Good to know I’m not AS bad as my floor-cio as I thought. I’ve being playing since launch of OW2 and I tried being on the walls more but the walls seemed to hate me. Good to know it’s not 100% a skill issue and more like 95% skill issue and 5% OW2 maps being low key Lucio phobic

@@SleepyCatPing I play on console so it’s hard for me to walk ride and do anything useful at the same time. I can wall ride to get to point faster, or to run away. But any “wall ride while fighting people” or “more advanced wall riding that involves good camera flicks and perfect timing for clean roll outs” I have a lot of trouble with. Even with controller reconfigurations to try to make the button layout work a bit better, I have to do a weird claw grip if I want a chance at controlling my wall ride decently and to shoot at people. So yeah that’s why it’s a skill issue for me. I know there’s probably skilled console Lucio players out there so I’m mainly blaming myself for sure. I need to find some cool console Lucios because most Lucio advice is from pc players. Still helpful but I need an idea on how to play with controller a bit better.

@evamarias8896 dude i got you, changed your jump to ur right bumper, so r1. then ur song boost to x on playstation or a on xbox. makes all the difference for wall riding since you can ride/jump/look around at the same time. also make sure to do quick flip ups when looking and jumping off walls, it makes you go higher.

I have watched alot of Froggers vids recently, but I don't get the HatsuneMiku name reference. If I played with him I would have just thought it was a god tier lucio lol.
