This woman that was causing grief, on top of your grief, needed stopped. I like you even more now 😁 You did the right thing Kayla. Don’t ever feel guilty about that. You had me so invested in the story. And laughing at the end, about your tea conversation. ❤

That lady needs REAL prayer!!! Families are made up so different nowadays and that's a blessing. She needs to learn that. You all know who you are and lived your dad. Your brother was calm as he know where he comes from and you were just being protective. All is ok. On a tough day, this made your mom get a laugh so another blessing. No worries just don't give power to the one who is so needy she can try to start up at a funeral. She wasn't center of attention until she did all that. Pray for her and love on your family. You are a great sister and son 💙 ❤️ 💕

That lady was mean, vindictive, heartless & cruel to say that! You weren't fighting.... you were standing up for your parents & family against the lies! Great job setting the boundary for that woman! I just can't believe that anyone would do that anytime & even worse at a funeral!! I'm amazed that you can laugh about it now & I'm not surprised that you were shaking! Thank goodness the rest of the funeral went really well & catching up with your family was great! May God comfort you all as you adjust to life without your Dad. I really remember how tough it was for me losing my Dad at the end of 2007 & I still miss him!🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Oh Kayla, I love you. God bless your heart. What a trial. I think maybe your Dad was watching over that and getting a big kick out of you fighting for his and your Mom's honor. He would have been proud of you. I imagine you surprised a few people. Some people are born to be nasty and cause hurt every way they can. She must be miserable living with herself. Her poor kids. I love that your Mom laughed over it. I hope that you can get plenty of rest after everything you all have been through. This has been a traumatic time for your family. You take good care of yourself. (If you have to be around that troublemaker again take a squirt bottle filled with ice water with you. She starts up, give it a big squeeze.) Hugs and more hugs!! I'm praying! I know you all still have a hard road ahead.

Might not have solved anything but might have given Miss Kayla some satisfaction and just might have shut the lady up! They behaved themselves which shocked me because there is always a fight when everyone gets together lol.

I'm a pretty cheerful person in the mornings and this one time at work, one of my former coworkers said to me that I needed to stop being so cheerful. Well I tell you that hurt my spirit, I went around for a few weeks not being cheerful. But my other coworkers and children (teacher aide) was missing my cheerful good mornings and smiles.
