What a crazy 24 hours! From an engagement to a funeral, that’s a rollercoaster of emotions. The Magic Castle sounds like such a magical place! The best thing at Porto’s is the Porto balls and the cheese rolls! And the milk & berries cake! 😋 Their sandwiches are ok, they’re not the best sandwiches

Norma a few suggestions, you should've flown into Hollywood/Burbank Airport, its way way less packed than LAX and no traffic, and usually cheaper when flying from Vegas, Portland, Phoenix and close airports. Also Portos is right up the street from Burbank Airport... things you need to get at Portos, MILANESA SANDWHICH not the cuban sandwich, and ropa vieja plate, or any potato balls, stick to bread or small cakes and slices rather than puff pastry, and you missed out on the dulce de leche besito cookies. Pro Tip: When you fly into LA from Las Vegas, you should fly into Burbank Airport. And as you may be aware, you were less than 10 minutes away from the Burbank airport when you filmed at Porto's. Second Pro Tip: You don't go to Porto's for the Cubano. You go for the Potato Balls, Meat Pies and other pastries. Everything is solid at Porto's for the price. But it's the bakery items that stand out. Especially for the value.

It tastes lighter if you only use egg yolks (I had to break these w my hands). If you use the whole egg, it tastes heavier.

Next time, fly to Long Beach. Much faster getting in and out and flights are generally much cheaper than LAX. As for the Magic Castle, I’m surprised you were able to record inside. They’re quite strict about that.
