It's amazing how fast weeds can grow and also how big they get in little time.

"The beach got rain" 😂 Love ya brother in Christ. Made me feel better today when you basically said its in Gods hands for drought stress.

Had a few dry spots that I treated with Fourplay, liquid aeration, some humic acid, and watered. I think they were finally recovering, and then the Lord provided probably an inch plus of rain last night, so I'm excited to see how much better those dry spots get now.

Hopefully you got all that rain at the house as well. So much for your "Beach vacation" with sand and sun, lol.

Yeah we need rain trying to keep up with the watering. Seems like water in the morning then by evening stressing out again lol.

Thanks for the digital rain. I've almost forgotten what a thunderstorm sounds like! At 10:30 it is already 91 degrees here and the heat index is pushing 105. It's going to be HOT! 🥵

I am in North Myrtle Beach. We didn’t get any of that rain. All we got was a great lightning show. My lawn really needs some water 😢😢

In your front yard where stressed so bad by your driveway not only the concrete but the sunlight off of your cars is hurting it as well. Mine has the same issue.

This heat is insane!! I got my sprinklers going crazy. Very hard to keep it green for me.

Humidity kills the lawn faster than the heat. At least in the heat we can water it a ton but with the humidity (high dew points) it causes fungus and disease...

I feel your lack of Jesus water pain here in the Charlotte, NC area. It was already over 80 degrees before 9am today. I’m trying to water some to try to keep at least the front yard alive, but the entire yard is young from complete renovation last fall. I think I see fungus as well (along with nutsedge) even though I have been putting down azoxy and prop…. I hate heat and humidity…

My KBG is looks like your yard. But my TTTF looks ok. I am not NC as well. No rain in 18 days.

It's like that everywhere. Haven't cut in almost 3 weeks. Put down some potassium and watered it in good about a week ago. Have some crab grass coming through but it's tooooo hot to spray anything. But at least it's supposed to rain here today also. Many blessings for a wonderful and safe trip!!!!! That rainstorm reminds me of 89' when Hugo hit down there. Before your time I'm sure....LOL

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with your shows. In SE KS we have been in a drought time the last three years and last your I just water trying to keep the roots alive but lost about 20% of my yard. I didn't over seed last fall because I said not till we come out of this drought. This morning we got about 1" of Jesus water and just in time! Thank you Lord Jesus. I've been watering some but if we can get 1" of rain every 30 days I will keep watering the rest of the time and over seed this fall. It just cost to much to water the way it needs if we don't get some help for me anyway. God bless and enjoy your vacation brother!

Hello, love the information you provide. My lawn (Maryland) seems to be turning yellow. I’ve put down fungicide and I have given it water twice to three times a week (in ground sprinkler system). I am not sure what to do next. The pale green/yellow color is awful. Any advice?

New to the Fescue game...can it come back with good steady days of rain, or will it need to be reseeded all over?
