I went with the Edelbrock ProFlo 4 on the 331 in my 80 Capri and love it...wanted multi port fuel injection, had used other throttle body style injection and had nothing but problems. Love how you've kept the exterior "early Fox"

Had similar issues to yours. Check secondary throttle blades and also check your IAC.

I don’t usually sub to mustang guys but seems like a cool channel I was gonna say it may be your I.A.C but looks like you have it under control brother I run all Holley too they have some of the best customer service I think hands down I’ve had my dominator and msd 600 for 2 years now and have had no problems out of it.

Damn I was just about over the fence to buy a Holley Sniper set up for my Pontiac 461 stroker until I saw this. I have spoke to several people who have done the Holley Sniper most have had good results and a few haven’t .

@@cobrabuilt it’s just not your review . I have talked to many guys over the past year and most have had good results but surprising there were a few that have had problems. But maybe it was their fault on the install or possibly a malfunction of the actual unit. Some even said if you have a good running carb save your money. That happens to be my case I do have a excellent running Holley 770 cfm carb. Been on my car for 6 yrs. I run a electric push pump under the tank through a regulator then electric choke carb. Starts up quickly every time. So at this point I am still undecided. I appreciate your review and nice to know Holley backs there product.

Friend of mine just had his Holly EFI shit the bed sent it back to Holly they told him if it just needs minor repairs it will be 3 weeks if he needs a new one they told him August at the earliest... Go coyote swap with Ford racing control pack no issues ever

I have a neighbor that works for Holley. He said NEVER buy a sniper. They’re JUNK. ESPECIALLY for Fords.

I had Rev hang and it was a vacuum leak. Kinda scary would tap the gas to hopefully knock it down and would just hold at the new rpm. It was one of the caps on the egr spacer for me that fell off

agree with the throttle blades, might have some shaft wear that might be binding when the holley has some thermal expansion when it warms up abit

@@cobrabuilt get you some spray start spraying around the base of the throttle body where it mounts check all your major vacuum lines going to your brake booster stuff like that.

@@cobrabuilt also pretty common on the fox bodies is the brake boosters will go bad and cause a vacuum leak which will cause those kind of problems too.

I didn't think it was going to be mechanical although it does happen. My foxbody has 250k and still going strong and my f150 4.6 4x4 has 300k and going strong. Things happen.

Quick question for you...With your Tremec TKX, is reverse gear tough to get into? I just installed a TKX in my Capri and it definitely takes more effort to get into reverse than I would like but I've got less than 100 miles on it... Thank you! Reverse is easy to get into. You have to go from 1st then to reverse for it to get into gear easy
