On the north side of Lumpini there is about a 1 km green elevated walk to benchakiti park (to the east). North of benchakiti park a couple of blocks is Sukhumvit road where there is a tonne of nightlife and debauchery. Awesome that you are loving Bangkok this time around!!

What you ride is MRT (Metropolitan Rapid Transit) not BRT (Bus Rapid Transit).

@@the.yellow.princess So, you like parks. You should also check out Benjakiti Park. @ MRT Queen Sirikit Convention Center Station. Then, ask a station staff for which exit. Once at the park, make sure to venture inside beyond the huge lake area to walk a skywalk over the swamp section. This park is bigger than Lumpini Park. 360 views of greenery against the backdrop of a BKK skyline.
