Your new little "Batty" is cute, we had a jet black one years ago, she became super protective of Grandma to the point Grandpa could not get to close to Grandma when she was around. That old fishery is pretty neat. Well I know the scooter would not take me up hill. You could try calling the DNR office in Madison to let them know about the doors but also if you wanted to volunteer to organize the photos. Hope your winter trip goes well.

I have been attempting to get something unique for my husband for Christmas for over a month. I don't think the scooter is his kind of thing, but I'm still looking. I worked in an Emergency Department for 12 years way back when Mopeds initially gained popularity. During that time we saw a fair number of patients that were basically "knocked off" those things largely due people in cars didn't see them. I treated a LOT of Road Rash back then and spent considerable time removing dirt and gravel from Knees, Elbows, Shoulders, yada. I'd strongly suggest the helmet along with knee pads, elbow pads, decent shoes AND a bright high visibility vest. And just remember, people over 50 don't heal quickly and one "hoop-de-do" too many along with an FDGB (Fall Down Go Boom) episode will result in the Road Rash along with Bruises in places you don't want to show people and about 2 months of recovery.....Soooooo PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be VERY CAREFUL unless Marty wants "Sightseeing Sally" to turn into "Nurse Sally".... or vice versa.

Marty prefers the seat. When cruising at nearly 30 mph he claims it feels safer being that he's a tall rider.
