I remember seeing drowning was a peaceful way to go and i was genuinely dumbfounded how people could think that all i remember was the fear panic and desperation, and trying as hard as i can to survive and failing knowing that litterally nothing i could do could stop the waves from inserting water into my mouth and into my lungs and just knowing im going to die. Part of me telling me to give up and accept it and losing all the energy in my body. Its a terrifying way to go.

I can't really float on my back but I can gently kick in the water to stay above water along with 2 other forms. Swimming has been so easy since I was 4 that anyone should be a natural at it if they stay calm. If you panic, the blind flailing and exhaling is what sinks you.
