Just got my first cake order without my business being launched too! This is my first time actually selling my baked goods and it’s for a wedding! Extremely nervous but excited!

Friend, trust me… You are going to be far more successful than you ever thought possible. You’re professional . Your presentation is good and your heart is very kind. You are the kind of woman that everyone will want to do business. Giving out freebies in the local area is a great idea. People not only get to sample your products, but they have a face to connect with. You’re friendly and people are going to love you. I’ll be praying for everything to fall into place for you ❤️

I can't express how grateful I am for your videos. We recently moved also, new market, and everything's kinda stressin' me out. The business was doing well from the previous city we lived in. OMG thank you for sharing your 1st order story. I can totally relate. I too opened my bakehouse doors for the 2nd time two weeks ago and have had a similar experience with my potential 1st order. People are gonna place orders willy-nilly without even asking about prices but after I sent her an invoice she too backed off stating she has a medical emergency. I know she backed off because of my prices and I too felt the same way as you did about your pricing but thankfully I have made my first deliveries on mother's day. You have to allow your customers to make mistakes and not complain about their MO. Small businesses make mistakes all the time while charging standard market prices just to survive in a "red ocean" of bakeries. I believe we should take the opportunity to learn more about our customer base with difficult or illusive customers because learning about how our brand is perceived by others is always gonna be a big part of the journey. Hunni 1 thing I've found out is everybody wants it til they see how much it costs! And I'm perfectly OK when I'm not in your budget. All of us are consumers and sometimes have to make adjustments to what's in our budget. But my desserts are NOT going to be cheap, been there done that! And was workin myself into the ground! Never again, this is definitely a live & learn business 👍🏾💪🏾

I'm in the same process of moving to another city and even though it is close to where I currently live, and possibly some of my clients will continue ordering from me, I'm so scared to start in this new area. It is a bigger community with lots of kids, which I expect should be great for my business but I'm so lost, I don't even know where to start. But these videos are so helpful and I'm learning lots from them. So THANK YOU!

They’re called high wall cupcake liners but seem hard to find. I originally got them from Amazon but can’t find them any more. You might be able to find them at a restaurant supply store
