The longest I've worn it so far is about 4 hours with a 5-10 minute break in there. Once I got it fully adjusted to fit my face and the harness to my body it became the most comfortable breathing apparatus I've tried to date. Big positive is that you don't have to pull the face piece down to talk to people.

I wear mine all day. Its a very good product. Optrel has a 4 day free trial at some of the welding supply stores. They shipped it to me for free with a return shipping label. I tried it and bought it. Very comfortable product.

I am guessing it is not enough. I have noticed that when observing others with the mask on i see the mask flex in when people inhale, to me that means there is negative pressure at that moment.

@@FISHBREATHH the reason I ask is I have a g5-01 welding mask with the adflo setup and that pumps 170L - 200L/min and I wish it had a third setting that went up to like 250/L a minute. I don't care about battery life I have 2 heavy duty batteries anyway

I would guess yes. Just judging by the works with all Optrel hoods, all Optrel grinding shields and all other brands "IF you decide to go that way". The If you decide to go that way is the kicker...like other brands or styles of hoods or shields are somehow lesser than Optrel...

@@Carpenterdon I have been using Optrel hoods since I bought my first Satellite in 2005 my man. I don't buy other hoods because in my opinion other hoods are lesser quality. That's really the point of the video so I am glad that message is getting across. It's not meant to hurt other welding hoods feelings, I just like to buy top quality where I can.
