Awe what a beautiful girl she is - glad she gets on so well with your parents dog. Remember to have lots of long-lasting chewy treats available at all times. And keep any precious items away from her reach - including clothes. Puppies will chew on anything they can find, it's practically instinctive.

I had gotten my first dog in 2010 when I was 34. He was supposed to be for my 2 children and they were to take care of him. 2 years later I was diagnosed with several chronic illnesses and wasn't doing well. Well he became my dog and took care of me. He would stay with me in bed rarely leaving to eat or go potty. He was by my side silently taking care of me. He is 11 now and I'm 45 years old and we are taking care if each other. I love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him.

Zia is just the cutest. Also, I can watch dogs playing for hours. Huskies are hysterical with their noises when playing. We have a lab and often (pre pandemic) babysat our friend's husky....hours of fun right there watching them play. So enjoy it Romee. It will definitely give you that wonderful destressing that you need, and heaps of love 💗

The way that you worked out the situation of a being a puppy foster mom with your parents is so amazing for you to have the opportunity to have a best friend puppy but offer her a wonderful environment of a playmate/brother and the perfect house and yard of your parents! The best of both worlds and your parents dog loves her already. I’m sure your family does too. The puppies look like they have been together forever! Good for you. My 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier died from a eye/brain tumor a week before I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2020… mourning is an understatement… miss him so much! I can’t adopt another dog because my apartment complex has banned dogs (he was grandfathered in on my lease of 12+ years). I have gained a ton of weight since I am not up/down 3 flights of stairs numerous times daily. I still talk to him, then catch myself and get very sad…

I love bringing toys home for my chocolate lab. He is so excited it is like Christmas in September for him. He loves tearing apart teddy bears .He digs out all the stuffing in about 30 minutes .Dogs are big part of my life. So cool that you adopted a cutie pie
