Not wise Leave the country I went to Laos got a 1 year temporary passport Flew to Seattle and got a ten year passport. It took about a week.

Your story doesn’t add up , if you went straight to Vietnam you would require an eVisa which takes 72 hrs to process , how were you able to travel there the same day you got your new passport ?

Great info Tom albeit I got most of the info from your recent Live Stream, you make sure to keep your old and new Passport with you at all times for a little while even though a new visa stamp in the new one . Worst overstay I ever had was a year and a half Mrs new immigration at Bangkok paid 20k so didn't get black stamp there more strict now tho
