Fair play lad. I see 3 mistakes though. Mistake 1 is not bringing a sleeping bag. Mistake 2 is bringing 2 tents. And finally, mistake 3 is the biggest one, drinking raw water. Unless you are desperate, get yourself at least a straw filter or boil it first. You can get really sick if the water is contaminated with a dead animal for example, so be safe dude. It might look like the clearest water you’ve ever seen, but you don’t know what bacteria is in it so just make sure you filter or boil it first 👍

I’ve learned this and I can count myself very lucky as I wasn’t effected by the water and didn’t get sick

Great video man. Meelmore Lodge is a good starting point for a walk. The only thing I'd say is to bring a water filter or a few purification tablets next time. Shame the clouds rolled in on you but gives you a reason to go back, lol.

The clouds were so cool as I had never seen a place like it before it probably rouind the view I would’ve had but when walking through the mountains it looked so cool

I guess one good thing about camping in the UK is that you don't have to worry about dangerous animals like cougars, bears or wolves. You can sleep with your food near you. The worst that will happen is some critter stealing your sausages during the night.

is that a stove in the box on the back#? if so id say get rid and invest in a small msr pocket rocket 2 and just whack it on a gas can and not take pots n pans lol save weight! and try not have things swaying on the outside of the bag! maybe look at gear u actually need vs what u dont and then look at videos of them said items etc dont want the pack heavier than 10-12kg and if just both u get a tent u both can share save wieght that way too.
