@creative8569 I agree. I have this sneaking suspicious that even some of the people who are "winning" at the hustle will ultimately find out it wasn't worth it, when they're on their deathbeds. The true winners will be the ones who fulfilled some type of personal purpose, with no regrets, surrounded by the ones they love. Laying on your deathbed with a big bag of money you can't take with you, that you spent your whole life working for, can't be the real goal, can it?

At least your honest. Most people never come to these realizations before death. I feel the same as you about all this and have no real path forward. I’m over all this productivity culture that is killing us. It’s a huge source of men’s suffering.

100% agree brother! I joined a couple of Multi-level marketing because they try to sell you the dream. But they don’t tell you only 1% of the people who join gets rich. I spent so much money and ended up owning more than I made. Let go of 50k of credit card debt couple years ago trying to make money. This is what they prey on, you putting in money so that they can get it. Manipulative business practice is what that is. Sad. But hey, at least we tried and learned, and can share about it. It wasn’t for nothing after all.

Thanks for sharing. Get rich quick schemes has been around me since my high school days. Although I never got dragged into one, I’ve seen family and friends all worked it, lived it, failed it. In the end it’s all about learning from failing because everyone at some point in life fails. That said, my happiest time in life was when I was hustling OT and living 9/10 frugally, 5/10 cheapskate. I do like to add that you are right about the 1-10% do make it rich. My long time ex is a very successful Digital Marketer today and will buy a 800.00 dress just for one special occasion. I worked just as hard in life as she did but different roads different paths. Keep fighting the good fight my brother!
@HealthCores
@HealthCores 13 күн бұрын
t’s true, everyone’s path is different, and not all hard work leads to the same kind of success. Sounds like you’ve learned a lot from observing others and staying grounded in your own journey. Hustling and living frugally might not be flashy, but it brings peace and satisfaction. I am doing exactly that right now.

The GURU thing, the course thing, the seminar things is always about learning and knowledge. If we take it as a return of easy money, we called it as a scam and to beware of it. In Asia, or Asian, it is a lot. Here's the catch, we are happy when people say good about us, therefore it is very logical that we are sad when we are told we are stupid or loser. This is how human communicate. That's why it hurts. In Sigma world, it is about forgive and not forget. As well as ghosting or detached toxic people and toxic environment. Sigma personalities acts emotionless most of the time but emotional in thought. Hopefully time healing process for you guys would not take that long. A word of caution, toxic people and toxic environment, both creates toxic in nature. Having good people in toxic environment vs having bad people in good environment, still create the negative energy. So everyone please take note of this. Cheers.

Ecclesiastes 3 King James Version 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. 15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. 16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. 17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? Ecclesiastes 7 King James Version 7 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. 2 It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. 3 Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. 4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth. 5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools. 6 For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity. 7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart. 8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. 9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. 10 Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. 11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. 12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. 13 Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? 14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. 15 All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. 16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ? 17 Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time? 18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all. 19 Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city. 20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. 21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: 22 For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others. 23 All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me. 24 That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out? 25 I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: 26 And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her. 27 Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account: 28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found. 29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

The sad fact is, you wouldn't be able to do what you doing now, if you hadn't worked so hard for so long and saved up enough to be comfortable. I'm sure 99% of people feel like you do, but without working relentlessly they wouldn't even be able to have a roof over their heads let alone eat. I think the ideal will be to own a nice piece of land with water, then you can grow your own food and build your own shelter and live a simple life, but even that's been taken away from the ordinary man, because of high costs of starting out and also taxes etc. This world will never be ideal until Jesus returns.
