I cried while watching the whole video. Back in 2013, suddenly I lost my job, lost my faith upon me, I was shattered and went to mountains. Only my family knows that i was going to north mountain side but they didn't know that i pushed myself for Concordia and it was remarkable, peaceful and show me the new ways of life. While watching the video I got a chance to remembered the time of my life that helped me to shape my future !! Thanks Flora !! Peace

Hi, I have been seeing your comment. Welcome to Pakistan. Just a piece of advice .. find some trustworthy local. I think guy called Ali has facilitated many you tubers, I am advising you because not everyone can have the same experience. Don’t allow people to get selfies with you as you will find trillions of request. Avoid going out in night alone unless you are sure. Best of luck for visit.

What a great documentary, well shot, well narrated and tons of humanity woven into it. I did EBC and got altitude sickness on last day but battled through to Base Camp at 17:30pm which meant endangering my guide as darkness fell quickly and equally so temperatures. We had no torch either. My lesson was that my determination (selfishness) risked the guide's and my own life. I slept in my boots and full kit, so tired I was from the day's events. I missed the dawn trip to Kala Pattar but was just so grateful to have got to Base Camp. No-one is going to think anything but good of you, as you made it to K2 Base Camp, an achievement less than 0.1% of people have ever done and a good one for your CV ! Well done.

What a beautiful story, Flora! It seemed like a huge challenge but that just shows how strong you have been. Many people probably will never experience this in their life. In a world full of edited success stories you showed a beautiful unfiltered real-life story. GGLA pass might be for next time but what a beautiful creation I got to watch today. Porters in your video are heroes of the mountains but you have been a porter to inspire my day - also a true hero ❤

Always get excited when I see a new thumbnail of your video pop up and I set everything aside before starting the video so I am not disturbed during. The quality of your videos is nothing like I have seen from majority of the travel youtubers, and i have been following many since almost major part of the decade now. The way you tell the story, the music, typography, color grading, framing and the pauses, everything is perfect.

Amazing video. What about a shout out to the mules as well as the porters? They don't even get a say in having to lug stuff, including ambitious but sick humans around in challenging, unnatural terrain for them. They would much prefer to be galloping around the plains. That aside I am grateful for the inspiration and opportunity to share your experience at some level, including feeling the sick days! The scenery is incredible and tempting for a keen hiker like myself.

It really takes courage and a lot of character to sum up a tour with all the positives instead of crying about the things we couldn't do. Your take on the gain from your tour was simply impressive. And the concluding note about the porters really showed how humble and considerate you are as a human being that you liked to give people their deserving share in your amazing story, cheers 🎉

I have travelled extensively in Nepal, Tibet and Indian Himalaya, climbing many peaks, but somehow never fitted in the Karakoram. Age and declining health mean it is now too late for to get there. Your film has really made me feel I have been there 9without having to suffer!), for which I am very grateful. You have a great talent for communication. Happy to see the second video of your journey. You are powerful and did your best in this challenging expedition. Let me tell you, this is not at all easy. In the first part of your journey, you said that the K-2 base camp journey is easier the Everest till that point. But I personally feel that the K-2 base camp journey is the toughest in the world. Because it's natural and unpredictable all the way. Base camp is one part, but climbing K-2 is surely life-threatening as well.
