Fam definitely comes first! I can honestly say I wish I would've recorded more with pops because I cherish those moments so much! One thing I did do more then once was set my phone down and recorded conversations with him about his life, childhood, brothers & sisters and grandparents anything I could think of! Best of luck, I had my mother move in with my wife and I 2 years ago cause she will be 90 and can’t take care of herself anymore. It’s sad watching them succumb to old age. It’s not easy either, you become the parent and your lifestyle changes drastically.
