It's basically the same idea as Zerg cheese strats in multiplayer with canceling a hatch into building a spine crawler on the small patch of creep it created.
@CongaYT4 жыл бұрын
It's used in PvP sometimes, you can make a spine crawler without needing sustainable creep to troll people You also do that, then make the spine crawler reroot itself on an opponent's hatchery's creep~

You can also sometimes use it against Protoss if you Hatchery block their natural for whatever reason, cancelling for an evolution chamber gives you a bunch of extra cockblock time. For the crucible Mission: The AI gets REALLY messed up if you spread creep around the level. The attack waves visit each creep tumor, both active and inactive, and trail a path around the level. This can delay them significantly, and in some cases cause them to stop spawning up until the final wave. I have no idea why this happens, but i use it every time and its hilarious. it even causes the two fighting armies to stop spawning as well. Note that this bug does not effect flying units for some reason.

Idk about you, but there are only 10 records in speedrun website. This means there is no competition. I'm saying this because you said getting a world record in this game as if it's super impressive, but really there is no one else doing speedruns for this game, which is still commendable he got a WR, but isn't as impressive as you make it seem. It looks like your respect is for this niche game because you perceive it as difficult, but that only applies vs human players. VS AI this game isn't that difficult. He doesn't deserve respect for playing this specific game, he should be respected for his effort not for this specific game...

It was super unsatisfying to watch. I hope we get to see a LotV speedrun sometime soon :)
