Yes girl! I hate when people complained about how we dont need the help..i definitely do! My dad has been permanently disabled for 20 yra ..mom has disability and now i am disabled..none of us can work.we definitely need help now.ebt is awesome,it helps so much! Im gnna need a new tablet and cellphone.so thanks for the info.

That must have taken a lot of courage to share your past. I am so happy for you to have help especially, living in LA. I am 70 and also worked all my life. I only have SS and Food Stamps of $23 a month and successfully applied for the program 2 years ago. I used the discount to get home fiber optic with a home phone bundle of 50 MB up /download unlimited for $45 a month. I have not had cable TV for the last 10 years only KZbin and streaming.❤❤👍👍

I’m aware. Yes the tablets will work, I recently transferred my acp to my phone service. I connect my tablet through WiFi. The only difference is that the tablet won’t have its own data and wifi anymore. You have to connect it by wifi or hot spot.

What if you are on 3 different programs: SSI, Medi-Cal (Medicaid), and Cal-Fresh? I haven't signed up for it yet but I did look at the online application and it allows for entry of only *ONE* program.

Yes, you only need one. Apply under one. Pick one. You still qualify. They don’t care about more than one but only one is mandatory

It's for anyone low income and receiving one of several government benefits such as ssi, disability, unemployment, for stamps and medical. There are a few more qualifiers.
