The guitar is by Kevin Gammond. Plants best friend and resides next door. He is n excellent guitarist. Runs the music college in Kidderminster where Plant also puts regular input. He also runs the MAS label. I would love to have seen the direction this band would have taken if given the opportunity. But as we know Zeppelin beckoned . I would so love to hear more from these sessions. Plants voice is incredible. Right from these early years he was outstanding. Reap it up people you will never hear a vocalist this good, ever again. To hear Plant is history in the making .

Can u put ur self in Pages shoes.. terry Reid says no thank u.. but... check out this guy Robert.. I picture page being disappointed.. and half heartedly going to see him after he has no other option.. then opens the door.. sits down.. then this skinny curly haired guy walks on stage and belts.. OOOHH BAAAABA.. pages coughs up his drink.. eyes open really wide.. and says... I need this guy..

@@TRUMP-2024-STF Plant said he got a fax from Peter Grant saying that Terry Reid said to him and Page that he was the best singer in England and they wanted to come hear him. Plant thought it was a joke. I don't know if Page expected to be disappointed after hearing Reid say what he said but he said he wondered if something was wrong with Robert after he heard him because he couldn't believe he hadn't already been a star.

Kevyn Gammond on guitar is described by Robert as a "lifetime member of the Band of Joy". In the early 1970s Kevyn played in a band called Bronco with Robbie Blunt. More recently he has held a senior position in music education at Kidderminster College.

Another one of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. I’m kidding. I’m kidding! Hearing John play these mellow dramatic works, is like knowing a black panther is lurking and prancing in the tall grass manifesting its moment to pounce. I Am so thankful for recording technology that allows all future generations to enjoy at their leisure. \m/ \m/

Makes you wonder how he slipped through the cracks and wasn’t snapped up by one of the other big names of the day… Even Page said he thought that there must have been something wrong with Plant or his personality after he heard him sing and he was still available. That’s the same voice he brought to the first Zep album, hard to figure how he wasn’t already well known and committed to another band.
