I think the video raises a good point about Pokémon Go generally not being very accommodating of people who need to stay indoors lol I live in a very cold area of the world and for all community days between November and March, I need to ask myself whether it is worth possibly getting frostbite for a shiny. I think they should encourage people who can go out to do so while not forcing people who can't to go out.

Honestly this is what my community days have been looking like since September (I had a baby!) he's 7 months now and the snow has melted so we might get out for a 30 min walk, but I play mostly from home now! I also do not get many spawns (and I'm a rural player)🤷🏻‍♀️ I actually really enjoyed this video! Feel better!

I did not know this, I was so beyond tired of having minimal spaces with a large enough opening on a flat surface. Then I’d always have to hold my phone like a old person looking at a phone for it to not register as too close

Also, hi William and Cinnamon. 😺😺 For the AR thing, go to settings, AR, and you can turn off "AR Encounters" and "AR Buddy", which will give the decorative background, and the light green standard background instead of using the camera. And yes, Australia currently has the new AR update of customizing AR photos. The Style update, although is easy to be disappointed and frustrated with due their lack of options, it's still a good direction towards something with tons of potential. Hopefully a future update will add more faces, height, facial hair, and more hair styles. Nice backflip!

I only needed three shiny bellsprout. My bestie and I USUALLY play community day in our home town, but last couple comm days we have been going to a town about an hour away, because there is a really nice large lake we can walk around while playing community day, with heaps of stops and gyms around it. I got 18 shiny, my mate got 17.

So sorry to hear you're sick. Sending positive healing vibes your way. I also unfortunately had to do Community Day from my couch as I was also sick. And I live in a forest, so spawns are terrible. With inscense going the entire time plus the five photobombs I only got 1 shiny. Luckily I already had 4 so it didn't really matter. But I can usually get at least 3 from my house. Kicking myself that i didn't save a 420 cp Bellsprout and name it " Blaze It".I also hate my avatar. The face was bothering me so much that I am wearing my Furfrou wig. And since when are torsos 5 feet long?? Always enjoy your videos because you tell it like it is.

Go into settings, AR, turn off Buddy AR, removes the need to find a "flat area". Hope you feel better. Epic back flip, legend!

Settings -> AR -> AR buddy off. Also you can screenshot Pokémon you recently caught without buddying them to get additional encounters. Just click the camera in the top right corner of any of the Pokémon in your storage. Hope you feel better soon! I got this same illness you have after CA’s Go Tour.
