Dallas resident with 212 wins. Just do a little footwork to low occupancy showcases. and swap out your applicants at 7:58pm to winning results to maximize your yield. Also learn to recognize other predatory trainers and avoid them. Especially if they have that Pikachu displayed today as they likely have a 3000 point Zekrom just waiting to swap in.

Hi Zoe. Played casual with my daughter today. She got 15 shinies and completed all the families and I managed 12 shinies to do the same. Plus a shundo Joltik. Very happy with the event.😊

For the global sinnoh tour weekend pokestop tasks did reset hourly. I played from home and i got a new task every hour from the pokestop i can reach from my house

I noticed this too on the sunday! Wish I knew on the Saturday I was "tactically" waiting for the habitat I wanted to do the research across the 50 odd stops near me, but turns out the were resetting hourly!

Hi you are completly true about this kind of event in rural areas. Few stops means less chances to get a shiny. Need more frequent refresh

Out of 289 total checks I did today (54 of them Joltik), not a single teeny weeny spider was sparkly, but I did get a handful of everything else: 7 Helioptile 8 Blitzle (The other one I was gunning for! THANK GOODNESS!) 5 Electrike 4 Chinchou 1 Voltorb (Wild) I can't be upset with this haul. And anyway, Joltik will come back someday (hopefully boosted again) in another event. :)

Got 18 😎 the secret is to only do the easier ones and then return for the rest, so you can encounter as many as you can in 3 hours. I did my entire city which is formed of 2 big routes.

During Galar tour first day, Shiny Zarude will be debut. Kurfu will appears tier 2 raid battle and can be shiny for the first time. Second day Galar tour all Giganmax and Dynamax will appear as raid boss.

During Alola Tour, may be Shiny Magearna will be debut, but Shiny Cosmog definitely debut during this event. Shiny Cosmog can be level two raid battle and will be standard legendary catch rate. Shiny Poipole also available in raid level two raid battle. Global release regional ultra beast. Another separated paid ticket event Halloween event Shiny Marshadow and Festival Light Shiny Zeraora. During Kalos Tour also debut shiny Zydarge 10% by level 3 legendary raid.

I had a migraine and slept through the event... played the last 10 mins. The stop I can reach from my house didn't have any event reseach. I got 15 shinies, 13 were from Pokestop tasks and 2 were full odds wild encounters, Plusle and a Grimer -which I got like 30 seconds after the event ended though ,still counts to me haha- I also chose Joltik because when it was released I kinda didnt read the news properly and didnt know that it could be shiny so I havent clicked on a single one back then and thus still needed that shiny. I should read the news more properly but I hate clicking on a link to continue reading anything, so I skip the detailed news alot of times haha..

I'm Super Rural and we only have 5 places for showcases. I hit my platinum badge months ago. So I have all the PH.D showcase stuff except Pikachu but I'll get that tonight. Edit: I found out that when you get to platinum award level, the encounter with PH.D Pikachu is there waiting for you. I got the female version and it looks like a small chubby version of Amy off of Big Bang Theory. I went with Electrike got 2 shinys of him, 2 shinys of Joltik and 1 shiny of Chinchou.
