@@darrenellis7442it's a pretty subjective term. 98% of them were 18+ which would make them adults. You had a bunch who were 17 and their parents signed for them and you had a handful of 14-16yr olds lie or fake their age to get in. When you're older, people will often refer to 20yr olds as "kids" or something similar. It's more of an I'm old and your young type of thing with little life experience. But technically they're adults. But many older folks will call them "boys" or "kids" because of that little life experience before being shipped off to another country to fight a war and kill, watch your friends and fellow soldiers die.

A true hero there , thank you for saving us in Europe . I am Dutch and if not for all the help we would have been speaking German now . But instead we are free so bless you sir and all who fought in that war

Germany were the ones trying to save itself and Europe from Marxism. Look at Europe today. The globalist are replacing native Europeans with 3rd world migrants and ushering in communist governments and leaders everywhere.

Bless this soldier..a medic is a very dangerous job in war times..people forget that. Thank you for being honest on how horrible war is for those in the actual fight boots on the ground. Nurses, Doctors, Medics, medical evacuation helicopter and plane pilots all had dangerous duties.

Yes all military duty is hazardous in war even Chaplains and Cooks are injured, starve, and are killed and tortured in war. We Americans need to be more knowledgeable and respectful of the American Military Soldiers irregardless of their occupations because all of them are the enemy's targets during war. And other countries need to be aware that our soldiers are sent to do battle, and win in wars and they do just that, they are Warriors sent by US Politicians who determine how long and how hard they will fight and they are in your country because your government needed and requested our help to save your countries and your people so instead of being angry at our soldiers treat them with gratitude.

My grandfather was a 4 stripped master Sargent artillerie and marksman expert in Normandy world War2 he was also in world War 1 He was in on the first wave to go onto the beach. His diary is chilling and very crazy. He said in his diary that the beaches were bloody and bodies were floating everywhere and bullets were flying by his head and bodies were everywhere. He said that the wall seemed to be miles away. They also had to do it with 150 pounds of amo and Gere and guns. Wile running for your life .the first Germans he had kill was in the bunker on the hill side. He sniped them out and he and his men took over the bunker and started killing Germans with there own machine gun. He said that we overwhelmed them out of the bunker !!! He has elle unit patches in his diary. My ant didn't know what they were so I did the research and found out that they were elite unit patches. He trained soldiers for years in the military he was a 3 time golden glove champion in the army. He died in 1987. He never talked about the war. I found his diary in the storageunit !! With all of his guns from the war and many collections !!!!! Like his sniper rifle from world War 2. Great gun !! With his reloaders and recipe !!!😂❤ I cry every time I read his diary !!! He went through hell and back !!!! Literally !!!! And lived through it all !!! Greatest generation ever !!!!!❤❤❤❤😂😂

No matter how much you might not wish to kill another human, there are times when you simply have no choice but to do just that in order to save not just your own life, but the lives of your buddies as well. You can see it in his eyes & hear it in his voice just how much pain it gave him to have to take someone's life, no matter who they were. After all, he had no choice but to act as he did. But I honestly hope that he's made peace with himself after all these years....
