Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. I feel like bodyguard would be better if you could protect twice. The first time blocks the attack and breaks your vest/shield and the second time kills you but saves the person you guarded

I find BG is super good early game, though you're more likely to save an evil from another evil. And late game the evils are probably going to not mind a BG at all cause it's a 1f1 and 9/10 times they'll still have 2v2 majority anyway. Doctor is far more frustrating to deal with, especially if there's a Vig involved.

Personally I think rather than a self vest BG should have a single safeguard from the killing role, like the witch, your first protect keeps you alive and then the second protect kills you, not only can you confirm yourself without dying but you also don't want to claim it super easily as you can be killed instantly. It would be similar to a role in Throne of Lies called the knight, as they have an ability called armored that protects them from death the first defend kill. It makes BG more engaging as you do your job and can still survive, while also being more at risk and needing to do more to keep evils off of you. Also I like how if you were Ww you would have two protects from the ga and just straight up win, or at least they would vote that last guy, and you hope surv sides you. btw I hate the poisoner achievements because no vet in their right mind would alert while poisoned and needing a doctor, and no jailor would grab a poisoned claim. They are literally "custom role list discord server" achievement, when you go out of your way to help each other get the achievement on purpose.

Poisoner gotta be the worst coven role by a mile. Like even as solo Necro you almost always have something to use+a much better book effect. But there's really no worse feeling than rolling Poisoner. I think I'd rather be literally any other role.

Especially if you are solo poison or last alive as poisoner, because if you don’t have the best reads ever then you just die. You even lose to vamps, regardless if they just bit by draw at the very least. I had a Mayor game where I helped the poisoner push up mafioso after faking neutral and revealed at the end of the day. Nothing they could do, as I always lived to the voting period if it was poisoner. Long story short, poisoner would make a better mafia role, especially due to synergy between present roles (Consort and Blackmailer come to mind). Just terrible as coven in general.

Bodyguard is not really worst role to be as, there the only role that can Kill Ww, CL with Book, GF, and Sk. While Crusader can't kill those roles. Since it has basic attack and some power evils and NK has basic defense.

23:50 im ngl, using controversy as a veteran bait is amazing, it would have worked on me tbh.. the first time i seen it was where they said "i think amber heard is the victim" and i was bg and i was like "oh hell no you dont deserve my protection", janitor and mafioso dead the next day lmao (was in ranked practice btw) used it once and killed a consort but i didnt even win in the end. was worth it tho + ty for 34 mins of mr tron games :D

To me it’s way too obvious. The vet bait I think may work would be claiming to be TP on the jailor. Whisper the jailor, or pretend to accidentally miss the whisper. Example: A: I’m jailor! B: /w A hi jailor, I’m TP on you If there’s a BMer, they may relay that. Or A: I’m jailor! B: w/ A hi jailor, I’m TP on you Missing the whisper so everyone sees it, right before night hits. The only vet bait I’ve ever “fallen for” would be fake jailor claims. That tends to get a lot of townies. The way I play vet is I save all alerts until N5 or N6, then I start accusing people either in whispers or in town. Basically, I go from quiet af to super active. Tends to get a lot of evils. Then, I claim I have no alerts left, then alert next night and next. If the game is super fast, like one maf left N3, then I tend to use them bc not much time left.

IMHO Bodyguard should have a target just like GA, still kill, and have basic defense, but becomes a survivor if the target dies, to pay homage to the canonical origin of the survivor, but unlike GA you can only have 1 BG per person, and he cant save you from poison, dousing, ignites, or astral attacks. But cannot defend 2 nights in a row.

There has been a LOT of games where jailor says TP/LO on me, but towns is dumb and I attack him anyway. I think I kill jailor like 80% of the time. I'm not that good of TOS but still win most games because if you talk a lot, and can get lucky with a TI push you can just never get checked

I don't know how popular this opinion is but BG and Framer are literally the most useless roles in AA--the scenario of BG protecting an evil from another is really common, no need to comment on that and I'm sure all of you have had a game as a Framer with no TIs on the town side right? Yeah, I think these need some special treatment even if it's just in AA. Dying N1 as those roles is a mercy I'm not often given. I keep having war flashbacks to my 5TI (5 spies) game in classic AA where my team was Mafioso (1) and Framer (3), we just kept making bets on who was going to be Mafioso after our original one died (I was the second to become Mafioso if I remember correctly).
