Speedmaster marketing pitch. 42mm is too big for Christian's wrist. He would never wear it. Omega in general doesn't cater for smaller wrists. Everyone knows 36-40mm is the average sweet spot. Omega hardly make any men's models 40mm & under. The Speedmaster 57 looks great. Smaller size with no twisted lugs. Love it.

Lucky to own a number of watches, but Omega really are my go to brand. They just have a great line up that really appeals to me. Whereas other brands might have a few watches I love, Omega have dozens it seems. I could easily build a great collection I'd be more than happy with using just Omega. Great content as always.

My first watch purchase was the white dial/orange hand Aqua Terra. Love it. Have had it for a while now, but I caught myself being transfixed by it again yesterday. It's that fetching. Also the most comfortable watch I own. Second to the collection was a SMP300 blue/blue. As stated in the video, it's incredible bang for buck. I wear it often! Next watch WILL be a SpeedMaster. Debate is WHICH one. I lust after the Apollo 8, but my wrist is like Michael's. I'm debating whether I can pull it off. I may succumb anyway. Alternatively, sapphire sandwich. That movement is too gorgeous to ignore!

I tried that gold Speedy when I brought my Speedy in for service. I will be getting it. The gold (Moonshine gold) is very subtle and you can wear it with anything, very versatile! Retail is quite pricey (About the same as a rose gold Daytona on rubber), but new, on the secondary market you can save about $7k

That gold Speedmaster on the rubber band is perfection. You save money with the rubber or even the leather band to which tones it down but still very noticeable. I love the look of the Omega Speedmaster more than the Rolex Daytona.

Great variety on content and nice picks on these Omega 1/ I do like the gold Speedmaster. For me it’s betweeen the gold panda you showed here, and the gold with red bezel version. It’s nice with the rubber strap, although not quite as refined as the Oysterflex bracelet 2/I almost bought an Aqua Terra. The green dial is def my favourite. I don’t ‘love’ the bracelet. 3/I own a Seamaster in Sedna gold and black with rubber strap which I like. I’m not a fan of the steel Seamaster bracelet at all. I hope Omega redesign it this year, it lets the seamaster down. 4/I really like the heritage speed master in blue , green, and red dials. Nice pick. Again I don’t love the bracelet. I think Omega can do much better here. The standard Speeedmaster has the best bracelet I think 5/I do love the dark side of the moon, I actually like the all black ceramic and been tempted. Wears well. White looks a bit too much like a moon swatch to me, but totally respect your personal take and choice

Love the watches, but I’ll never understand when very expensive, sometimes even precious metal, watches are put on $20 rubber straps. (No matter what they sell it for, it’s rubber and worth $20 or less). Why not a nicely padded black leather or alligator strap if you don’t want a bracelet?

I love the aqua terra, but my budget would only stretch to the Tissot powermatic 80 with the green dial which I own and love. Its not on the same level as the Omega obviously but there are lots of good quality watches out there for about a grand that you can own and enjoy. Badge snobbery will always exist but I don't believe you should overlook a watch because it isn't considered a "Luxury Brand" the Tissot is well made and accurate and you don't need to sell a kidney in order to obtain one. 😆

I love Omega. Bot the No Time to Die as my first one. I've literally gone silly adding to my Omega collection. Yes, I'll admit that I would love a Rolex. However, I won't support a company/model that literally creates its own supply issue, and then sits back while the grey market folks charge double or more. I find it very hilarious to visit Vegas, see the Rolex store in Bellagio and Caesars Forum Shops. They will have security people pretending they're protecting something. When in fact, they're guarding display models of the watches that have no working mechanisms in them. It's literally like guarding a full size poster board image of a celebrity versus actually guarding the real life one. So, I visit the good people at Bellagio's Omega Boutique, and have a blast.

May I make a suggestion Christian? I'd love some "new" content. (from all the watch tubers). It's been years of hearing about Rolex supply issues, Tudor, all the same micro brands. It's getting boring. Why don't you review the vintage pieces that are currently in your shop and as new ones enter your inventory? This would allow for some new and interesting content. Reviews don't exist anywhere for most vintage watches. It would help to sell your current inventory and put a review and specs of that particular watch out there in cyberspace for people to reference anytime they come across that same watch and are wondering what it's all about. What do you think??
