The defense is so large, they line up offside when they get in position. On the offense, the giant center places the corn so far forward it causes the defense to be offside. I feel like it's as simple as players lining up a set distance from the line of scrimmage. Normally it's no big deal for any players, but if you make them huge the game doesn't account for that. Size doesn't seem to have as big of an influence on tackles as you'd think either. Sometimes the giants will miss 'cause a slight variance in angle is magnified a lot more, but the smaller players don't seem to have much trouble taking them down. I'd imagine someone that large would just be a wall, hell, don't even really have to pass the ball when the wall can just clear a hole by blocking a player with each hand.
