I actually managed to break this game. Which considering what I have managed to do already in this game is pretty impressive. Even though I broke the game I think we can break it even more with even more training.

For anybody wondering why all the stats went negative when DF turned them up too high: Most forms of programming use something called _integer overflow._ Essentially, this means that if a number exceeds what the program can handle, instead of completely falling apart, the program resets the offending value to its minimum value and starts counting up from there.

When you set a stat to over 2,147,000,000 the game can't handle it.

I was thinking more along the lines of it being a signed integer, so when you go above the maximum value the program sees a negative number. Like if I had four bits to work with, zero through seven would be represented as 0000 through 0111, and the program uses the upper bit as a negative sign, so adding 1 to 7 would get -8, represented as 1111.

The makers of this game should programm every single vertical edge, that faces towards the racer, to activate climbing, this will eliminate theese get stuck situations on really high skill-levels. So i think, the may official skikll-level can be 999 and it still works.

Programmer input here, in most languages there is a hard coded set Int (integer value) and when you exceed said Int (in this case stats) you go backwards and due to a conflict between a negative integer and the energy bar only reading natural numbers when a negative hit it sets it to 0.
