In payload mode, you actually want more weight because it carries your momentum. I was confused when my one rocket wouldn't work anymore and it was bouncing around, but it's because it was so light

If you stack enough dark matter, 20x gravity to something with .05 mass will result in an overall gravity of 1.00, roughly. That's means at DF's current level, he's easily 100x heavily than if he used the dark matter asap.

I used to speedrun this game and payload mode was the most stale of the speedruns. The only viable strategy was to go for self propelled bodies ASAP because they have an absurd max lift. The superpingu body has a max lift that I was never able to force to stay on the ground. Even with omega bricks and high gravity it still flew pretty easily.

There are balloons and rockets that can be used in the stage category. Balloons have a much lower power, but basically last forever, rockets fire in very short bursts, but send you super far. For this challenge it may have been better to try out the omega rocket instead of the omega balloon, since it could probably have lifted the weight

Saw the challenge, tried it myself, did it in 20 days or so. it would have helped alot if he would have used propellers also in the stages. could have grinded 2000-5000 money per day. after that you use the sonic burst, as it has immens strenght, but low fuel. but that is exactly what you need for the payload.
