Looks pretty clean! Good history on it These also have a shorter ratio box compared to the zetec S Makes it a lot more fun and nippy to drive Try and get a mountune short shifter on it, much better to drive after! 😊

It’s a liberating feeling. I’ve had a succession of new company prestige cars but my daily driver now is a 2011 Freelander 2 and I don’t really care what I drive day to day! Very reliable (by LR standards) use it for shooting every day duties/ commute. My weekend cars? Mk2 Focus RS in frozen white , just like yours and a Ferrari 360……both appreciating. 👍🏻

Good purchase, Ford nailed it with this generation Fiesta! I'll throw this out into the comments on the off-chance anyone can help, but the front lower chin spoiler (known as the bumper aero foil) is a discontinued part and I can't locate a reasonably priced replacement. Anyone known of any parts suppliers or used wreckers that'd have one? (I've tried all the wreckers in New Zealand and had no luck). Cheers!

Such a cool car! I love the Fiesta Metal edition also which has the same engine as these. Should be great to have around and £5k seems like a good deal when you look at the prices of cars today. This is a great fast Ford so should hold its value. Hope all goes well with Motorway and you receive the money you are looking for the Cupra 👍

Not really as no doubt the day to day running costs would end up being higher, plus I’d just drive it faster as the power is there and then it defeats the object haha. This will do mid 40’s and I reckon even 50mpg if I nurse it! Very frugal car!

ive had my mk7 titanium (zetec s style pack from factory and same 1.6 engine) for years, I really wanted the s1600 when I was looking but they were too expensive, changed mine to eibach springs think it sat it like 20mm lower its a nice height tbh and not too hard a ride, great choice tho, a fun little car that wont break the bank and a perfect commuter.

Looks great. but as a Cupra owner myself I'd be gutted, when I replace mine it's going to be the newest of the generation we both have as I'm not keen on the latest Cupra Leon or any Leon , as a Leon owner after 4 Golfs & several A3s for the money the Leon's are better cars even though they are all virtually the same car. As a cheapish runaround I love the wife's 14 plate DS3 Dsport Thp think the N14 engine been a 2014 is 160bhp quick enough & the car has everything 14 plate with 80,000ish can be had for near enough £5 Grand.

I just hate the standard halogen number plate bulbs, so I always swap them for the crisper LED 501’s you can get from Halfords for a few quid. Have a look at yours - if they’re a yellowish colour they won’t be LED’s.

Did you ever consider Mazda MX5? Not the best choice when you've got kids I know but since you have two other practical cars it shouldn't be an issue. Fits the bill perfectly - cheap, fun, great cars to tinker with. I went from an MX5 to a MK2 focus ST and still miss the way I could exploit every bit of the cars power on the road. All depends on your drive to work really - not a great car for motorways that's for sure! But for £5k you could pick up a belter!

No way id sell my 2020 290 for a bathroom and underpowered fiesta. But hey it’s your choice and everyone has plans and big decisions to weigh up and if you’re happy losing the power and the warranty is gone then ⚖️ . I’ve extended my 3 year lease twice for my 290. Fiesta will be a good little daily though and probably fun in the correct setting and as you say the fuel will be a huge saving! Enjoy 🎉

@@CarFocused yeah pal I totally understand, the rs is from a different era when car’s still had some soul, especially with a 5 pot 😎, the cupra can feel slightly boring but not when you’re out for a spirited drive, mine is going st1 with some bolt ons shortly now the warranty issue has passed as there properly fast with that. And tbh we all spend a fair amount of time in the bathroom so with the upcoming mr 375 it’s win win I suppose. Enjoy mate 👍

Nice Fiesta however wheres the engine cover and also the mileage is low as some years its done only a few thousand miles IE 2023 to 2024 it only did 2000 miles then in 2022 to 2023 it did 1500 miles so unsure where you get the info it was used daily! I guess i looks tidy and drives ok what the hell enjoy at least you get the bathroom done! lol
