I agree Cindy. I have a whole cabinet of mugs and none of them match. They were all gifts to me and every morning when I take one out for the day, it reminds me of the person that gave it to me. I really do remember every one. :-) It's a happy thing for me.

OMG I feel your pain, when we moved to FL, I had to bring so many docs because of marriage, name change, SS card, proof of residency docs. Proof of car insurance, and they actually had to come out to the parking lot to check the Vin # on my car. Crazy stuff just to get a FL driver's license and car tag.

My family went camping all the time when I was a kid, and we had a couple of those coffee pots - or percolators as they said. They were made for camping and could be used directly over the fire. Those old food containers were very handy when camping, also.

I am going thru something myself this week and want to crawl under a rock, but this too will pass. There's always shopping, right? Even better if you have yourself a Kari to go with. My 18 year old just went through all the DMV stuff. Permit test, pernit, road test. We fine tooth combed the instructuons and even brought extra things! Then he bought a truck; went through the insure, register, inspect process... And the truck blew a rod less than a month later! His grandparents chipped in and we got a new motor in it....WHEW! Noah has a good attitude! Better than I had during all that stress-mess!

Speaking as someone who formerly worked for the Region VI Office, based in Dallas TX, of the Social Security Administration, the ONLY way to be issued a Social Security NUMBER is to be issued a Social Security CARD! There must have been a card issued in your past that you received but have forgotten about. I wish you speed and luck in getting Noah’s replacement for his SS card. Noah’s attitude always a healthy one!

We got SS cards for our kids shortly after they were born, they were needed for us to claim them as dependents on our taxes and before our kids got their first jobs they had to present their SS for their federal and state paperwork - maybe it's different state to state

I have that same exact green egg/veggie platter. It is vintage glass. Also, when we moved to Ohio, I had to get my marriage license from my first marriage, which was 20 years ago. Not only that but it was in Houston and that agency had been hit by that HUGE hurricane, years ago. Took me FOREVER, to actually find a copy. The basement that held all the filed documents had been completely under water. It was a NITEMARE.

I’m so glad you saved the old glass bowl in the beginning. I like it too. The lamps are beautiful. Glad you found the other ivy lamp. I really was surprised when you said you hadn’t noticed it!! Great goodies, and life lessons! Same happened to one of my sons- we were short a document. Great pivot Noah💪🏻 and Danni, of course in the middle of everything else going on, it felt like a huge WOMP WOMP. It would be easy to change the fabric on that bench. Unscrew it from the legs and now you're working with the seat. With a flat screwdriver to lift the staples. Cut your materials 2/3 inches longer then bench and the foam, memory foam or or batting material that you use for like stuffing a pillow. Some people get it one big thick sheet to redo chairs or benches. Nice strong stapler to take that material and staple around one side, then do the other side. Then you going to do the small sides bending them up and folding tucking in the corner so you have a nice fold there and staple it nice and tight. Then we screw it back onto the the legs of the bench. Good luck and I hope this helps you!

My daughter, who is now 40, failed her drivers behind the wheel test 2x. The 1st time I understood because she wasn't really ready. She was 16 and even drove over a curb on the way to take the test. But the 2nd time she was 17 1/2 and was ready but the mean lady at the DMV said she failed cause her shoes probably got in her way of driving properly!!!!! I said "did she have them on her hands?" The 3rd time, 2 weeks later, a man gave her the test and she passed! So, you at least didn't fail. You were just lacking a social security card and by the time you're old enough to collect social security the well will be all dried up. It's actually dried up now but they just print fake money so we can get it. So, you handled it like the mature young man we know you are and we love you for it!!!!!

Oh do I understand your frustration. I am 81 years old. I have had a drivers license since I was 18. As my eyes are not quite what they used to be I no longer drive so instead of just giving me an identity card they require a birth certificate and everything I used to get my original license. Noah is a champion.

Cyd in MD. You said you like to learn things. Here goes. At video time approx. 32:35ish you make note of two tall glass pieces. I bought mine over 30 years ago. They are vintage clear glass shelf supports as were used in old time pharmacy shops. There are examples online. I see they are now asking more than double what I paid for mine.

Sounds like my daughter's and my experience with the DMV in Hereford, Texas. We went several times and was always told we STILL didn't have all of the forms. It was absolutely ridiculous! But...she did finally get her license. I know exactly what y'all are going through. I am so sorry. I promise, "this too shall pass". Y'all are just such neat folks...as always thanks for a terrific video! ❤️
