I’m with you! If it’s too crowded or there are kids running around, I’m not a happy thrifter! It makes me anxious and I feel rushed. My favorite time to thrift is first thing in the morning or late in the day. Thank you for your videos and all the great info you share! ♥️

I found an etched Free Mason Firing glass in the clear glass section at Savers in Duluth MN 2 weeks ago. Dated 1908. Paid $ 1.99. Good lord. Who donated that? Yes I bought it.

Those are Korean duck. They represent love:marriage because ducks stay together for life (or so the story goes). We have some we bought when we adopted our kids from Korea. I LOVE them.

Hi Danni. I have anxiety and loud noises makes it worse as well as trigger migraines. I carry ear plugs and I will pop one in one ear and it does help my brain calm in crowded, loud spaces. I also use it at movie theaters. I can still hear what I need to with just one in but it allows part of your brain to get a break. Not a scientific explanation, but it works for me. Thanks for letting us shop along with you.

I’m so glad you picked up that 1930s cut glass piece. The thought of it going to the landfill would break my heart. I wish such old historical pieces were more appreciated, and I also hope they come back in popularity.

Get Rachel some enamel or patio paint to use in those glazes pots. They aren't expensive, they are water soluble for clean up, and can be bought at Michael's or Joanne's. Wipe down the piece with white vinegar on a damp cloth to prep the surface. Easy peasy. Can paint on glass with this method also. (I'm really not a know it all - just 69 years old and have lived my life with variety!) Or ask Sonny - he is an artist!

Great shopping trip, I love that shade with the roaster lamp, when you go back, I think that cracked egg planter went with a dish, grab it to add value. I'm not 100% sure but look back at the video when you grabbed it, it was sitting on the dish, sure looks like a match😊🙏

I gasped @ 18:11 when I saw the Venetian masks on the bottom of the shelf. Didn’t know if they were authentic but when you found the other two especially the mask on the stick I was excited. Love them. Fun outing 🎭

Pet drink fountains - if your pets have one, you know it's best to get them new, largely to insure that you know where to get the filters. It's possible that the one there was fine. Maybe the pet has died and they just donated the fountain, but it'd be a bummer to get home and have trouble getting the filters for it. We had one for years and finally stopped using it when it was kicking a fuss and no matter how often I cleaned it didn't change the little motor having issues. That reminds me! I have a new box of filters to list! Thanks for the reminder! :) LOL

Danni try a little bit of peroxide on your spots, and it will not interfere with the rest of your collars. It will not make it bleed, and it also usually will take the spot out. I do it all the time. Billie

Plants might rot in a planter wthout drainage because the roots dont get enough oxygen when water stayes in the bottom over time. 😉

My wife and I love 💕 your yard sale videos. We have been shopping yard sales for 5 summers now here in Virginia. All the vintage and antique stuff we have found we have boxed up, put in storage. Don’t know if it’s the greatest thing to do to slightly chipped or flea bitten crystal glassware, but just as a sort of experiment, I took some very fine grit sandpaper to a crystal glass of mine that got a small chip along the top edge. And what do you know? It seems that crystal responds very well to some fine grit sandpaper. I got the chip smoothed out and it at least makes the glass so that you can drink out of it without worrying about dangerous mini- shards flaking off…into your mouth *eek* 😱or on your hands. And even though this damaged iced tea stemware is not one I would use for company, because the chip was deep enough that there is a bit of a dip where I smoothed it out, it useable now. Plus I have some sentimental attachment to the set this one came from..so I couldn’t bear to throw it out.

So not many know this but....if you really LOVE thrifting ,Tennessee .... correction EAST TENNESSEE is the ultimate thrifting place to be. We have SOOOOOO many stores besides goodwill that are amazing on what you can find. My favorite is Second Source in Jefferson City, TN. Yes its a KARNS(KNOX AREA RESCUE MINISTRIES) thrift store but there's no preaching or such and I've been shopping there since 2012. They have some of the best finds and its not all the flea bit glass or damaged things. You should check them out.
