You can do ruqya on yourself or a loved one, simply put your hand head or forehead or their head if you are doing it on someone else and recite Surah Fathiha, 3 Qulls, Aytul Kursi and the last 2 ayahs of Surah Baqrah.

They don’t go together for the Muslims and yes for jilbab it seems more overt.But khair inshaa’Allah. When people are new to practice they are yet to learn how all encompassing hijab is and sometimes what we watch, who we hang around,what we listen to still holds us back.When we are surrounded with good,read good and listen to good it will have a natural effect on us if the intention is there.

May not be your intention, but I don’t think it’s fair to hold women in hijab to higher standards. It’s also dangerous to say they don’t go together in the sense that you may make people feel like they’d have to stop wearing hijab if they swear.

@@SalmaPaz I think the suggestion is that women should stop swearing if they wear hijab.I get it may not be that straightforward but it needs to be we should encourage and remind and not really baby people too much either.I know that is sadly how we think as women sometimes which is shame but sometimes it’s important to just remind people that some things are not befitting of a visible believer.A man in thobe swearing is just as reprehensible.
