Might sound funny, but I have a vented vest that I wear when climbing with first aid supplies in it for this very reason. Haven't had to use it yet, touch wood, but it could save my life if I do need it. Something to consider. Doesn't hinder my work as very stream lined.

How do you install the Notch Rook pulley on your Petzel rope bride. So you take the pulley apart or remove the plastic from the rope bridge.
@TreeClimberHarry Жыл бұрын
Yeah I took the plastic off the rope bridge and shoved it through, it was a pain to get it on.

You guys should keep a CAT tourniquet in the truck or on you. Train up your guys to apply it. Yeah, you probably won't ever need it, but if you hit an artery, you won't make it to the hospital. On a positive note, Keep up the good work👍.

I know the feeling of once you’re up there I’m not waisting the energy to come down for lunch. I keep a medical kit on the back of my climbing saddle(safety first) just in case something like this ever happens. Great video and work up in that tree mate.

Ofcourse Safety is no joke. But it really looked real. You could have a carrer in the Film industry or Hollywood. Also i have to admit, you will definitely win climbing & jumping a tree, if you compete with any monkey.

Too funny. Same happened to me on a giant sugar maple removal at a grave yard. Straddling a long lower lateral, cut half way thru, notice a large opened cavity, the kind that are home to racoons, and right before it broke free, i felt my thigh get really warm and wet, lol. Look down and there is red oil just pouring from the cut, which at that moment, i thought was blood. That morning was also the first time we used red bar oil, and i had no clue my groundie filled the reserve with it. I felt awful when all that red liquid just drained from my kerf. I was even more relieved when i figured out what had happened. Ah, good times in the saddle.
