Just want to say thank you for all of the numerous kind words and sympathy. You guys continue to be so amazing and supportive. You help us through every single day. ♥️ Thank you to everyone who keeps saying I’m strong, but really, there’s so much more strength here in the comments. Reading about so many of your experiences just truly touches me and I’m so sorry that so many of us have to face such pain from these terrible diseases. I’m just wishing peace and comfort upon everyone who also struggles. 🙏

This comment you have left to your audience is beautiful. Two beautiful people going through the most difficult of times with such health complications. Your supporters help keep your spirit strong. Going through health issues often drags us into a dark place, it feels hard to bounce back and keep going, especially as we often smile at people and say "I am ok" . When In fact we are anything but ok. As long as you two have got each other, you will always be ok at the end though. A loving relationship can help through the darkest of times. Love to you both xx

Dear Jessi, even just listen all your struggle is wow, I cannot even imagine how you have so much strength to going through all that.. I have a fly-attendant friend who once told me that it is not a good idea to travel via airplane when there is a health issue because it makes that health-issue worse! They was taught about this subject at the fly-attendant school. That's why I previously wrote you that after IVF you might not hop-on an airplane the next day. I know every case is different, every person is not the same, but better be cautious. Can't you just move to Italy with your cat for some months?

My whole heart and soul goes out to you. I too have had those and the pain is unbelievable. I want to share something I've heard through some of Dr. Eric Bergs videos here on KZbin. He interviewed a gal who was helping a couple try and get pregnant but having difficulty. In the mean while put her on a keto diet plan and low and behold she became pregnant. Their thinking it had to do with insulin resistance. Maybe something you can look into. Also for me personally keto helped with my ovarian cysts amongst other health issues as well. I'm sorry I'm long winded here. Just saw your video and thought maybe I could help a little. Feel better real soon! ❤🙏

I miscarried on a trans-atlantic flight from Paris France to San Francisco, California back in July 1998. The pilot assigned a crew member to me who had suffered a miscarriage three months earlier and she took care of me, my distraught husband and our older kids. The only doctor in the plane was a retired obstetrician who was a very reassuring and comforting granny. I will never forget that flight and the people on the plane who helped my husband carry the youngest kids in their carseats to the luggage retrieval area since I was out of commission. All of the people on that flight restore my faith in humanity! I am SO very sorry that you went through this awful experience, but happy for the same level of support you received by your flight crew.

That's the job of flight attendants - not to bring you snacks or try and get you to buy duty free, that's their secondary role. Flight attendants are there primarily to look after your safety, whether that's medically or physically in the event of an incident etc. People always seem to forget that.

Yes, the reduced pressure in the plane can absolutely cause an ovarian cyst to rupture. Cabin pressure goes gradually from the altitude of the airport of origin down to the equivalent of between 6000-8000 ft altitude (depending on the model of aircraft). It’s like driving to the top of a small mountain. I bet the timing of your trip with your estrogen patches meant you cyst had just grown. If it didn’t burst on the plane, it would have likely still derailed your transfer. I’m so sorry you went through this, most women get morphine in the ER for the pain. Koodos for raw dogging a rupturing cyst. I really hope they can help you and that your transfer can still happen!
@lloydcollins63374 ай бұрын
The standard plane on BA222 from Tennessee to London is a Boeing 777 which would have been built in the late 90s/early 2000s so won't be one of the more modern planes like the 787 which can accommodate a lower cabin altitude (this is due to the 787 being made of composite materials which can resist pressure better, making it safer to pressurise the inside of the plane more than traditional metal skinned planes).

My period would arrive out of the blue, or I'd have a huge bleed through, but I also had 2 ovarian cysts rupture. It's 'take your breath away' level pain but then like you said, it seems to slowly subside after they burst. My Dr said it was due to the air cabin pressure. I never flew w/out an ultrasound first from then onwards. I'm so glad the staff were amazing, what a great example of empathy, compassion and care.

Jessi, you absolutely amaze me. Girl, one thing after another and you just keep getting up and hitting back. What a warrior you are!! I had a cyst burst one time. That was enough. I have always had abdominal pain. The gyn called it chronic pelvic pain. But, this was awful. It was my right side, too. And the pain just kept getting worse. I crawled on the couch and went into a fetal position. And each pain, I would tell myself that if it got worse I was going to have to go to the ER. Then, that final pain, I was froze, I couldn't move...and then, nothing. It was if I had never had a pain. I could've got up and danced! My ob/gyn confirmed at an appointment I had about a week later that the ovary appeared to have had the cyst. But, it was brutal. I feel for you for so many things and in so many ways. Praying for blessings.

@giovannagiacobbe64604 ай бұрын
Ask about Ovarian Torsion!!! Sometimes with endometriosis the pain comes from your ovary which swells up and twists. You are at risk of the ovary actually rupturing is an extreme medical emergency because it causes internal bleeding. If it’s this right now, it went back to a normal size but this can happen again. Get your right ovary checked and make sure it’s a normal size and that it doesn’t have endometriomas on it and it’s not tied down by endometriosis threads causing it to be pinned which can cause the entire ovary to rupture.

You poor thing. I have ovarian cysts rupture about once a year. The pain is white hot intense doubling me over and literally takes my breath away. Give me labor pains any day. When it finally does rupture, then I have dull abdominal pain and nausea for a good 24 hours that slowly fades out. And I do have a sore spot. It stinks. I did have one that would not rupture ( larger than a golf ball)and had to have it surgically removed. My niece had a huge cyst that caused ovarian torsion requiring immediate surgery. Unfortunately ovarian cysts run in my family. :( I hope this doesn’t happen again to you and you are well very soon.

I suffered through ovarian cysts ruptures for about 15 years before I had that nasty ovary removed when I was in my 40s, so I feel your pain! It's horrible, and I'm glad you're okay now. I hope everything at the doctor's office goes well!

I am so glad that you’re okay. Absolutely, a cyst can rupture due to cabin pressure; you were also in an egg harvesting cycle in your IVF treatment. You are so brave as abdominal cysts are so painful. I’m glad your recovery was uneventful. Alessio was a champion as always in his support of you.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that in such an open environment but so happy to hear that you had kind people to help. Please take care of yourself and don't push!

My prayers for you! I cannot imagine what you were going through in the air. I suffered from endometriosis for decades and near the end, before my Dr insisted on a hysterectomy, my pain was level 10 every month….off to the ER for pain control. My heart is with you Jessi and Alesia. Much love and hugs. 🥰♥️🥰

I had endometriosis - never felt pain like it. Had 2 kids and then a hysterectomy. Best thing I ever did! But I understand you wanting to have your family first - best of luck to you both!

Oh Jessi! I am sending you prayers and lots of good vibes. I can't imagine how upset and how much pain you're in. I'm so grateful that you are safe. I had a medical emergency on my way back from Italy and over the Atlantic on my way home to Boston. I was rushed to the hospital when we landed. I was never right after that sadly, but I'm so lucky I'm still alive. My heart breaks seeing this. I wish I could share how my children came into this world. It involves me going blind along the way. I wish I could do something for you both. I am praying it was just a kidney stone. I'm heart broken for you both. You 2 are the most loving couple out there. One day you're family will come together. I know I couldn't see that 13 years ago but I can't help but believe all the love here for you both will manifest this bambino or bambina for you!

Nicole sounds like a life saver! I've had a medical event on plane too with Asthma but lucky its manageable with inhaler. I've never had to see a doctor, as long I have an inhaler.
