He's probably in his head and taking it all in..its very hard to conceptualize the idea that your wife some one you can feel her warmth and is living and breathing right next to you....anytime or day could be gone like that. and it hurts even more because she truly is such a beautiful person her thoughts, her smile, her outlook on ideas and people and life is so warm...it would be hard to lose someone like that.

Amazing! And what beautiful outfits for the wedding. My uncle was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and I NEVER in my life thought that something like that would happen to my family (I know it sounds silly but prior to this no one in my extended family had gone through it). I cannot begin to imagine what she is going through and the thoughts she has to deal with but what a beautiful day and her headpiece was amazing.

What a beautiful celebration of life and love. I also had a friend with cancer who got married while she was in the midst of her battle. She lived her life to the fullest in kindness, humor and gratitude and even continued on her work as a doctor for as long as she was able, with sprinklings of travelling to her bucket list destinations. Sadly she lost her battle, and we had to face the loss of an extraordinary person. When I talked to her husband, he said that having to go through the pain and grief of his loss was a small price to pay for the days of love and happiness they had together. His only regret was that he wished they had more time. She was his light and his heart. And now he lives his days also in kindness, humor and gratitude in honor of her. I wish Dominique and her husband strength and courage to face the challenges of her ongoing battle with cancer. And I also wish for both of them time and healing. That they may have many, many, many more happy and love-filled days together.
