I’ll say it one more time and hopefully poof sees it this time. In order to rebound from a pow block, poof, you need to shake the wii remote when it crunches the third time. If you did it correctly, you’ll see some blue circles expand on the ground beneath you and you’ll stop spinning sooner and you’ll maintain some acceleration.

tips: when a pow happens, shake your controller up on the last hit when you get hit by a shell/bullet/star/anything that stops you completely, stand still and do a mini-turbo hold left/right on your dpad to hold a shell/banana behind you to block red shells dont try using a fake box to block shells, it doesnt work i would also try to not fall off

Here a few tips: when getting hit by an item that stops you completely and youre playing with a wii remote press A and B at the same time and hole them then turn left right left right untill you got a blue boost this is faster then just normal acceleration, when youre at top speed on a straightaway swing the remote up to wheele this is faster then normal driving. When a pow is coming you can dodge it but pressing B without turning in a direction to jump at the right time, this avoids a full stop but only takes you item and lets you keep most of the speed you had. (1v1 mario kart wii on coconut mall 150ccm)

Alright I’ve got a lot of tips and tricks Shake on the last thing of a POW to keep your speed You can change your miis weight class (to use different vehicles) by changing its height and width You can hold items behind you by holding sideways in the dpad If you press go as soon as you hit the ground after falling off the edge you get a speed boost
