I miss maceidonai i was there for my summer break and it was amazing my grandpa built a house there in ketchivo skopji, i think its a 4 story building with a great view of a mountan my grandpa lets my aunt and cousins live in one of our houses he is a very respectid man will not say his name do to privacy. All the Balkan countries have mosques because they were ALL occupied by the Ottomans and today, some Turkish influences still remain. The exception is Greece which demolished all their mosques when the Ottomans were banished to give the false impression of Greek "purity". Most of the cultural Turkish influences, such as Turkish coffee, kebabs, music, etc they kept but simply renamed with Greek names, so now, for example, we have "Greek" coffee, souvlaki, etc.

The area by the lake is All Shqiperia peria epiri. EPIROVIT. The area was called Ilirida Maqe. Kozani last name. The area was Shqiperia Albania before 1940s after the bulgar OCUPATION became Half Sllavic BULGARIANS and they took the name Macedonia.. in Albanian Maqedonia means (further wonders) Maqe donia or Donim. Macedonia is not a country. It's a region of Greece and has been for thousands of years. Long before the Slaves came to the region. Ancient texts tell us so, archeological findings tell us so and above all history tells us so. And history never lies, people do. Macedonia, Alexander, Filippos are all Greek names. Look them up. Macedonia means tall people, Alexander means defender of men, Filippos means friend of horses. In the Bulgarian language they speak, those names mean nothing, because they are not theirs.
