Matt I know were you are coming from. I have had 10 surgeries, 2 on mr right knee, 2 on each hand and 2 on each shoulder. Having surgery is no fun at all. I hope that you have a speedy recovery. Remember push yourself but stay within the doctors orders because you never want to have to have something redone. Great videos as always please keep them coming.

I was born with a bone missing in my right hand, so the tip of my little finger is fused to my ring finger and the ring finger is bent just like your little finger. When I was in primary school I was made fun of relentlessly until my mum took me to see a specialist, because I wanted my fingers to be cut apart. The specialist had my hand x-rayed and explained to me what had happened to it and told me even if it was cut apart it would never grow straight or to full size. Just that knowledge of why my hand was that way gave me so much strength to go back to school and ignore the stupid remarks the other children made. The doctor also telling me I was unique made me feel good about my hand. I hope your finger heals well and I’m glad you were able to have surgery to fix it. I still wish sometimes that my fingers were like everyone else’s so I can wear loads of rings, but it is what it is.

Swift recovery Matt. Injuries can be horrible. In 1987 Jan Molby suffered a foot injury which sidelined him for 3 months and resulted in his central midfield position being taken by Ronnie Whelan. He was never a regular starter for Liverpool again!

I had a finger volar plate repair after tearing my finger joint apart in karate, bone sticking out my hand. That finger is permanently bent now, doesn't straighten.I had a general on the NHS, this was like 20 years ago. I call it my gspot massaging finger now 😂, hope you have a good outcome pal
