I wish you a speedy recovery. When I was 16, I had an ovarian torsion and also diagnosed with PCOS. I didn't even know I had a cyst! After finding out I had a laparoscopy to remove the cyst and the damaged ovary. The scars are pretty much 99% unnoticeable now and it's been 5 years.

Thanks for this video! Next month I’m going to be getting a laparoscopy. I’m a little nervous but I’ve been trying to push for this surgery since 2014 but drs didn’t believe my pain was that bad or didn’t wanna do it for some reason. I finally found a dr who was willing to do it.

Thank you for posting this! Im getting the surgery done next thursday .....have to be at hospital at 5:30 will get started at 7:00 I'm very nervous never been put to sleep! I have 4 cysts on my right and 3 on my left! I hope it doesn't take long for them to remove the cysts. I was told to pack a bag will have to stay overnight in case if something goes wrong! I kind of know feel like I will be okay! After watching your video. God bless you i pray you never get those things again.❤ I do have a question how did you feel after? Sore, in pain or fine????

Hope your procedure goes well! Thank you for the well wishes 💕 I felt moderate but very manageable pain after. My regular cramps feel way worse than the surgery incisions. If I sneezed, laughed or coughed it would be painful but nothing too bad

Letitia Kiu Your welcome and thank you. I just thought I asked because I never had this before and I am very nervous. Im post to go to the doctor monday they want to take blood and I guess a picture of my heart to make sure evrything is fine before the surgery did you have to do the same? And how long were you in surgery I was told it would take 3 hours but maybe less. Your boyfriend and mom did good and well taking carw of you. My mom took a few days off to look after me and my daughter.

It's good to get a referral from your family doctor! Ask them to refer you to a gynecologist specializing in endometriosis

On my journey now and will have to have the surgery here soon. I wanted to ask about your treatment plan after the surgery. My doc is pushing for hormonal therapy to stop my periods all together and terrifies me! Not a fan of birth control and their side effects. Did you end up doing bc? If so, I would love to hear your experience with that!

I was hoping I could as you a quick question - with coming off all the medication after surgery how was your nausea? I have a phobia of vomiting and this is the part that scares me the most! I get really bad cramps so I know (probably not to the same extent) how it is. it sucks :( I would love to know what they suggest for your treatment plan and what you like to do to help ease cramps. All I do is get a heating pad/blanket, drink water or herbal tea and take midol. Literally cramps can be so bad I've brought my heating blanket to work, no shame. If it means I don't have to take a sick day then I'll do it. I'm very thankful to be Canadian too. Hope you're doing better

Ohhh man heat pads/hot water bottles have been one of the most effective for me. I take naproxen as well, but I've been . looking into cannabis products as well..if you're interested in hearing about it!

I'm having laparoscopic hysterectomy next month. I bet I have endo. My cramps have always been brutal and with heavy bleeding. Boooo...now my cycles range from 9 day to 40 day...ugh...so bye bye uturus..thanks for the one live birth. Lol!!!Don't know what I'm in for but...I'll roll with it. Glad to be Canadian :)
