I think it would definitely help people as although I had the right of way I do believe taking that turn I should have been extra extra cautious since I was in a position that put me in a place that I was not easily seen and I knew this.

That exit was really close to the intersection, so the car should expect that someone will turn onto that road and he should have looked again before pulling out.
