Hats off to the other driver for spotting you. That’s how it should be and not the idiots that just sit in their cab and record making fun of other drivers.

Over the road drivers do not have the experience as A local driver local Drivers always have a lot more tighter spaces to back into God bless you for driving over the road I cannot do that
@joeharris58514 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree with that.

Local drivers also run short wheelbase tractors, often with only a single axle. That makes it much easier for them to get into tight docks than it is for a road driver.

Get cameras to stick on each corner of the trailer that you can view live from the cell phone/tablet they sell them.. eliminates blind side backing and im able to whip my 315 inch wheelbase 379 pete wherever i want practically with them..

yes, I see you bro. Out of all possible empty doors I've been given the most hard to park ones at the end of facility so I had to blind park it many times too but good for me a had another driver with me that was telling me what to do next. Sometimes I think shippers give you hard spots just to see you struggling and they probably even make a bet if you can do it within 10 minutes.

My new to me truck came with the power drive. I don't live in my truck like a lot of guys do. But I do like it. I have that hotlogics cooker. So I can prepare my meals and put them in the fridge that thankfully this truck has. So far its been pretty nice. I'm happy with it. I have a power kill switch in my sleeper so when I'm done using it. I just turn it off.

Stay safe n healthy out there kid! Also, have that inverter wired in by a real automotive electrician. It'll cost a few bucks but, it might just save your truck and, more important, your life! Having it done by a pro will also save you headaches and money in the long run.

Nice blind side dock. Love the cap cam. Feels like we’re living your dream. 👍. Did u get an APU for comfort in your truck without idling? There are many to choose from. Expensive I know but money makes money in the long run and some docks won’t let u idle in the heat or cold while loading or unloading. If u have one ignore this.

I think this industry needs an upgrade , you go there you park your truck in a special spot ( no backing) you drop the trailer and that's it and how do you call them yard dogs pick them up and park them at the doors. And you go and take another trailer which is already loaded waiting for you but I guess it's too complicated for them to figure this out. They can plan this to make things better but I guess nobody cares. Can anyone tell me that this system shippers have right now is smooth? is there a place for improvement?

Electrical work they only 1 way install or replace anything. The right & correct way. No short cuts. Use grommets if must so there is no sharp edges at all. I out I used heater hoses temporary on lot sharp metal edges. Zip ties and pre-glued wire mounts & Die-Electrical Grease I use a lot. Route wires out way in a neat & professional looking. Seen motor vehicles to houses burnt to ground over people taking short cuts. I still get shocked at amount Diesel Mechanics can't mount 12 volt. batteries in series to make 24 volt system. I had all 4 D8 dozer batteries blow up I standing like under 1 foot from them. Happened within time I yell NO Koboom. Acid eat my clothes right off myself drive home basically nude. Poor guy helping me just about lost his eye site over that accident. Spark hooking jumper ground cable to - battery terminal & not a frame ground cause it. But you will do fine. You did great on that 5th wheel lock.
