This has literally been my prayer for the past year… I’ve found some beautiful women to share friendships with, but unfortunately I’m the age where they all have young children to take care of and time for friendships takes the backburner as their family and spouses take what little free time they have. It’s been tough, but I’m still praying and waiting. I understand these people afterwords have a high potential for deep friendships later on in life, but it kinda sucks it can’t be right now… 💔💔❤️

I'm mixed (about ethnicity), so i can find myself in both of you at some points. Finally (but not least) beeing men of God is secure, there's wisdom here, and we can pray with you at the end. 2 Different bodies, but the same GOD in your hearts, amazing. I have experienced that emotional intimacy is the foundation of true authentic friendship, and everyone does not know how to achieve this level of vulnerability because intimacy requires sacrifice to have a true "friend-mate". I think you're an anomaly because I keep putting myself out there and no one is biting. Even in small group, years in and others are not being vulnerable. It makes me want to stop trying. This has helped me continue to keep trying! 💪 I am on friendship apps and asking people to help match me up 😂 Doing all the work and being the friend first etc. I was even worried I was idolizing it. ❤🙏

This is so good. I have had to take a hard look at my friendships and the part I have played because of my brokenness. Oooof, I am grateful for God's goodness to reveal the ugly to me and to still bless me with what and who I need.
