I had a fitting with a Cobra Rep at my club and tried all 3 variations at the start of this spring to replace a 20 year old driver. By the end of the hour-long session on the range it became clear that forgiveness outweighs distance gains on perfect shots. My swing speed could have worked with the X, but I ultimately went for the most forgiving Max. As someone who doesn't hit the ball super far, being able to confidently hit 230-260 off the tee without worrying about it being wildly off target is so crucial.

If you want a cut why not try it at the standard 9 deg? When you up the loft you close the face.
