Credit where credit is due, James. You have come a long way. I subscribed to your channel within weeks or just a few months of the beginning of it. You were very self-conscious. Almost embarrassed by filming people. And, now, you not only sat in the cafe narrating as you filmed, but you had the confidence to invite people to join you. And that is an impressive leap. I'm kinda very proud of you.

As much as anything James...I enjoy listening to your "musings" about...life...the world...people...etc You are ten years younger than me, but many of things you say could have come from my own mouth mate. I think there is a HUGE untapped resource of life experience and wisdom and skills in this country, with middle-aged, and older, men. But...no-one cares or wants to know anymore. We are just seen as "Gammon" now 😢 But...in other societies, especially in places like Japan and India, older people are revered and respected for their wisdoms. At least you have a platform to air your philosophies...and that's a good thing. My eldest daughter says she doesn't like any of the t.v programs that I watch, because it is..."just old men...talking" 😂 Nothing wrong with that. But...I wonder if we are just becoming an echo-chamber? "Kids" (by which I mean 20s and 30s) aren't interested in our wafflings. But I suppose we were the same when we were that age. Anyhoo...I enjoy listening to your philosophies about life etc mate. BTW...those barber shops are fronts from money laundering. There's about four here in Ramsgate. 😏

I can see why you came back, there's a lot to see and do. Sorry to hear about the loss in Tony's family, he died too young. So gald my dad retired when he was 62 so that he could enjoy taking it easy and do some traveling. I liked that aquarium and gardens, and the butterflies. And, you got to have some much better fish the 2nd time around. I was out in the back of the property today and there was a big gopher snake, they're harmless but they make you stand back to be sure they aren't a rattlesnake. Have you come across any snakes while hiking? Okay, have a good weekend enjoy family and friends...and treasure them.

I’d keep the Cayenne Johnny. It’s such a nice car and it’s paid for and it’s not like you drive it all the time so fuel shouldn’t be a concern. You’d end up regretting stepping down to a cheap small car plus you need 4wd or awd that’s in the cayenne especially in winter!

James, i have started having just a fish and a buttered barm when going into a chippy as it is very hard to get decent chips today. Most fish though are pretty decent and getting a good one with a barm cake can be as enjoyable so that is my way of avoiding the chips. It is a fact that if you get a McDonalds or any other type of 24 hour fast food outlets, then it is harder to get a mortgage, harder to sell / re-mortgage, but property's not near to any takeaway's hold and have a higher value.
