Hey Maddie, I hope you're warm and dry! I strongly recommend you get a DC to DC charger. They are easy to install and make the world of difference when solar isn't cutting it, I've got mine setup so that it can only run when the van is running but it's also still on a manual switch so I only use it a few times a week to top up when the sun isn't playing ball. I'm a very budget traveller but even for me they're well worth the money!

I live in Ireland where we have very little sun in winter so I use an renogy dc to dc charger that charges my leisure battery in my van as I drive. Only takes minutes to install.

A tip for keeping warm without using power - a hot water bottle. Sticking a hit water bottle in the bed in winter or just having it in your lap is so helpful.

I live in a small town (12,000 inhabitants) in Germany, in a two-room apartment that I rent. I have to pay very close attention to how much cold or hot water I use, how many degrees I heat the apartment to, or how much electricity I use. Energy prices have skyrocketed and I'm lucky that my landlord is reasonable and didn't raise the rent significantly when I rented from him.

I just found your channel yesterday sooo I'm pretty sure I'll be binging your videos now. I love your style of videos! Definitely a good fit. As one who lives close ish to the falls you explored, I'm embarrassed up say I haven't explored them yet. They're so beautiful so thank your for the motivation to get out there and check them out! There was a forest fire in that area a year 1/2 ago, but more on the other side of the highway going up into the mountains. I hope you can get to a warmer area soon! Leavenworth is beautiful in the snow, but in general WA shines in the late Spring and Summer.

If that's the Herkimer on Greenwood then I literally lived half a mile from there many years ago before I moved back to NYC. Fantastic area, so much to do and see nearby and convenient to so many great places, like around 500 parks, water, shops, etc. I hope you had a great time there. I really miss it.

I just switched to a Wave 3 for my van-doesn’t draw any battery power! Radiant heat and heats the van perfectly! Can leave on low all night too! I mounted on the wall (two cat 🐱 🐱 van here:)) so no risk of them knocking it over-or getting burned as it isn’t flaming hot to the touch;0. I think you already use propane for cooking? I got a 20lb tank so that should last for the winter!

I once heard Bashar who is channeled by Daryl Anka make the comment that absolutely nothing in our lives holds any value whatsoever until we are selves attached one to it❤ having the freedom of a brand new Sprinter and a Sticks and Bricks that is going to be going up for rent also has its challenges❤ I'll be giving up the house but there's plenty of room on the 12 acres to come back and park my van alongside Paradise and go out and play in the National Forest that has surrounded me for the last 30 years❤ one of the reasons you feel more challenged in the daily tasks is because of the limited budget and the worry and the Wonder and the what ifs❤ the best video available about manifesting you'll find right here on KZbin❤ it's 37 minutes long and the guy in the thumbnails got on a red Hawaiian shirt❤ Darryl Anka Bashar the formula❤
