Watching this now, its crazy how much worse Bungie has become. As predatory as possible with their game. Paying more and more for less and less. Who would've thought Activision was the lesser evil of the two? Bungie has gone to shit, and I feel no remorse for their lost reputation.

Yup. Bungie ran Destiny 2 so far into the ground that I will never buy another Bungie product ever again. You just can't trust these guys to do what they say they will do. Marathon? Who even cares? +Jesus Dank the thing that makes it a big deal is that it's been done for years. it's a staple of AAA titles now, you buy the game, then buy the ability to play the game. publishers forcing developers to strip out content and putting it behind a paywall is commonplace, and when i think of this practice, Activision is the first company that comes to mind, and mostly because of the original Destiny launch, where it was common knowledge that tons of content was ready for launch, but was held back for a while then released as "expansions" i grew up in an age where the internet was in its infancy, and when you bought a game cartridge or CD, you got the same thing as everybody else, and it was easier to discuss and enjoy games with other people. now it's like "Did you play this mission?" "No, i didn't buy the Legendary Premium Elite Edition." or "I didn't buy the DLC packs." went on a rant there, but the whole "Buy Game, Buy Game Again, Buy Game Again Again" mentality of the modern industry is so skeezy and dishonest to me, and every time i'm actively encouraged to shell out more money for a game i've already bought, i lose interest in the game. this sort of stuff is how Free To Play games make their cash back for development, it shouldn't exist in any AAA game that costs $60 new.

Six years later, I’m here thinking back on D1. I preordered the game and played every bit of it, but never got into D2. I had a group of about 10 guys from across the US and a couple from the UK, and I still talk to them regularly and we play games on occasion. I even met one of them in person because he doesn’t live terribly far away. Destiny was meant to be experienced with friends, and I’ll always be grateful to Bungie for the friends I made.

The Mystery Box It's all about the people you surround yourself when you play. If you are one of those types of players that hop on once or twice a week and find LFG teams for Raids/PoE/ToO, then I feel your pain. Not too many LFG players have patience because they don't have multiple hours to play a day. Add some friends who you can enjoy playing the game with and they communicate, then it will be 10x easier for you.

Daedra Sheogorath Well, a lot of people, especially older teenagers and young adults, think that fart jokes are more for little kids, and are considered to be immature or very low/cras humor. Adam Sandler films are largely notorious for using jokes such as these, so people just generally assume that it's for little kids. However, I can agree with you that it's not wrong to laugh at a *good* fart joke; one that's used cleverly well and can get good humor out of it, such as the one in this video.

Sometimes I return to Warframe because I have forgotten why did I stop or because my life got THAT boring end empty again. So I download it, start playing, find out all the new cool stuff that has been added in like 20 billion updates I missed over the Years... then after a week or so I notice that I don't have fun anymore. I'm just grinding quests to get more stuff so that I could use this stuff to keep grinding a 0.0001% easier. It really feels more like a Job than a game. And I'm like "I REMEMBER NOW! REMEMBER HOW FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING BORING AND REPETITIVE THIS IS". Then I delete it and start rethinking my life and trying to change something... until the next time. My point is, although I never played Destiny, all the videos I saw and all the stuff my friends told me about it makes me think that fucking warframe has more content than this. Oh and all (i meant all the stuff that matter anyway) the microtransactions stuff CAN (why the fuck would you want to but hey...) be grinded piece by piece for months. I'm not saying its better or anything, it just shows how broken destiny is if it basicly can be even compared to an empty f2p game. (Sorry for bad English)

A well designed multi-Platform MMO that I think truly rewards you for your accomplishments, getting a pet, chopping people in half, making a crappy dojo for your friends, being a blood-thirsty space ninja, capitalism, even imperialism in forms of space highways, but it's FREE. The game has a multitude of flaws, especially enticing people into micro transactions, but at the end to the day, you don't have to pay a dime. Sorry for the wall, if you get this far have this🍪

Cennisen Just play Warframe, its free, it came out first, (Warframe released 2013 in March D1 2014 of September) it's better than both destiny 1 and 2 combined, and they constantly do updates giving its current player base an actual endgame, unlike Destiny 2 which has no reply-ability sorry I had to say it.. at least Warframe has over 30 classes hundreds of mods to build your own skill trees. after 2 months you new players will understand. Warframe has 500+hours of content just to get to the end game missions.. There are literally free to play games that do it better than AAA and these destiny guys... why'd you take out so many things that worked in the first game that didn't even need reworked in this one? and then didn't even fix any of the old issues.. literally started playing Warframe again because they are putting out more and more content every month that isn't even a competition anymore they are actually fixing countless and numerous amounts of bugs and glitches and it's still buggy but at least we're seeing active progress on an almost weekly basis compared to most AAA games that don't even do that just trying to prepare for day one sales by hyping up the pre-order and trying to show as little actual gameplay as possible then forgetting about them a year later and I hope with the next game you really step it up because I'm not buying this one..(not the next one either because bungie/activision failed) I still haven't bought it, but I have played it.. and I'm not impressed I'm smarter than that smarter than the sheep that just blow away money then say "i hope the next update/game fixes this" already wasted a hundred fifty bucks on the first game and they're DLCs all that crap that eventually was replaced died out, and you guys just forgot about it, so who the fuck even Plays destiny 1 anymore? I was pissed that bungie made a sequel instead of making a "ten year plan" to update destiny 1 make the better game more polished and add a gary raid dlc and add the new classes which in my opinion would have been better.. we would still have a better skill tree not a dumbed down version for kids.. destiny was already a dumbed down version of halo.. still other games that are better, their player bases are growing in the tens of millions.. so what's stopping me from going to these other games that have hours and hours even months of gameplay and replayability the player base is constantly growing for a reason its pure fun, instead of buying a game that's dying off instantly after day one.. when I can't even have fun with this piece of crap anymore I'm just burnt out on Destiny I guess.. I can still enjoy og halo, but these developers are getting way too corporate for my tastes.. Warframe is even getting an open world just in time to pass time by for Destinys update so... Fuck AAA it's all sketchy and scummy business tactics that people in Banks and casinos would use on ppl it's in music, media, facebook, now they're REALLY using it on us with games more and more every year (and really not giving a fuck if it's blatantly a scam right in front of my face) instead of making quality games, they're just pushing sales for day one deals and pre-orders putting a game on shelves year after year, while other quality games have just been sitting there and working on themselves for years it takes over 4 years to make a good game so I don't know why people just keep on buying these AAA games and they're putting them out year after year or at least one every three years when it takes like 10 years to make a good game of course they're going to be unfinished. They're just selling their image and hiding the best stuff behind a paywall pre-order to get early access now get blahblah half off includes weapon for free lol... I just don't like it when they take steps back just to make a cheap game that looks good. then rely on the image to sell.. just look at mass effect.. no man's sky, trove, absolver, sw battlefront, they are all unfinished crap games that people decided to release just for the money which tells me they gave up on their games. the only thing I can say about destiny is the pvp is better, but that's because in destiny your character runs slower, your super takes fucking forever to charge, but in Destiny 2 half the missions are gone half the raids are gone half the skill tree is gone purposely taking steps back to make their game dumbed-down for children, or way too balanced for pvp tried too hard as made pvp too generic, just to make it easier, just to point click and shoot instead of actually having skill.. I guess destiny has vehicles too but I can basically fly I don't need them.. I'm just sad destiny could've been amazing if it had become it's own thing but it's just a cheap shit show to sell to kids day one pre orders.. I know what I'm talking about I've played both.. now most of Destiny's player base is suckered in like sheep saying.. I have to strongly disagree with you when you say that the story isn't really important and that less games should care about having one. Its true that the most important part of a game is the gameplay, but a bad story can really ruin your immersive expirience and make every character and the objective itself seem pointless. Im not saying that every game should have a great story, but they should have one good and interesting enough. For example, half life 1's story isn't a masterpiece, its quite simple actually, but if it wasn't for this story, the excellent gameplay would just be overshadowed but how pointless and non sesical everything would seem. Of course, you can do a game that doesn't take himself too seriously and that only focuses on have good mindless action, and that can be good sometimes, but this genre has been exploited to death and all of those games in the genre seem the exact same.

+LFC Gamer The Witcher 3 still has it's problems. It's incredibly boring until you get to Velen, which takes a decent amount of time, and the game doesn't always install correctly. Plus, loading times were insane until one of the updates. It took 10-20 minutes every other loading screen. I got the game the week it came out and didn't start really playing it until last month. However, once you do get to the game, and now that a lot of the problems are fixed, the game is wonderful! Definitely my favorite game so far this year.
