Lmao, I've done my own for over 20 years and last year I decided to go treat myself, let someone else do them for a change and OMG... It just can't be done... It's just not the same when someone else does it when you're so used to doing it yourself, different with the kids cos that's the kind o thing you have to make allowances for when you breed but other than that...nobody touches my talons haha

I LOVE watching nail videos, but I find that the "host" of most of the nail channels out there, they don't have great personalities which can make the videos quite boring. There are so many Nosey Rosey's out there trying to tell everyone that just because they're doing it wrong it can't be done safely and who better than amazing you to show us how to do it right!

Pinching doesn't cause any damage, just don't do it when the nail is still wet cause it'll collapse.

Juanita Martinez hey, yeah I have watched like every video, I meant doing her own left hand with a gel sculpt and an acrylic because the technique is different when doing your own nails and then it is different again when using your non dominant hand, I'm a nail tech/beauty therapist so I can do them on other people but like Kirsty I find doing my own such a chore!

Hi Kristy, I can relate i became a nail tech 30 yrs ago had a break from doing nails and decided to get mail nails done by someone else for fun recently, 10 people later i still can not find anyone who I like the way they do them so I have stocked up and am back to doing my own nails, the non dominant hand sux but its better than having someone else butcher the job :-)))

How do you know when you should use and acid based primer or an acid free primer?

Acid based primer is for nails which has a tendency for lifting, eg. it will be more apropriate to use it on the person who is working as a cleaner or nurse and is using hands at work more often then someone who is working in the office (it's just an example).😊
