I Hate Doing My Own Nails - Part 1 - Tip and Overlay, Full Cover and Smilelines - In Depth Tutorial

Hi Guys,
Here we go again, doing my nails, AGAIN...... God i hate doing my own nails, I wish i trusted someone else enough to do my nails, because it's such a chore.
In this video I show how I size up my tips, fit them and apply acrylic using full cover and reverse application to do french tips. I also show you how I use an eFile on myself which can be very tricky for beginners.

It's just not the same when someone else does it when you're so used to doing it yourself, different with the kids cos that's the kind o thing you have to make allowances for when you breed but other than that...nobody touches my talons haha

Pinching doesn't cause any damage, just don't do it when the nail is still wet cause it'll collapse.

Hi Kristy, I can relate i became a nail tech 30 yrs ago had a break from doing nails and decided to get mail nails done by someone else for fun recently, 10 people later i still can not find anyone who I like the way they do them so I have stocked up and am back to doing my own nails, the non dominant hand sux but its better than having someone else butcher the job :-)))

Juanita Martinez hey, yeah I have watched like every video, I meant doing her own left hand with a gel sculpt and an acrylic because the technique is different when doing your own nails and then it is different again when using your non dominant hand, I'm a nail tech/beauty therapist so I can do them on other people but like Kirsty I find doing my own such a chore!

She's the ONLY person I see that uses a "pincher", I LOVE that! Most nails tend to "need" to use a little, tad, extra bit of curve to the nail to be at it's most "attractive" shape, and most even side edge without that weird, out bend curve, right where the finger meets the side edges of the nail (basically right at the smile lines edge).

Yea suurrreee... it's all fun and games when someone else is doing your nails. lol I would honestly feel so bad for the person having to do her nails though. Unfortunately, I'm the same way with my hair and nails... I really try to shut up and let the person do their job... but I know exactly what they're doing. At the end I always find something...
